Loved the bar and outdoor seating area in the courtyard. The staff were awesome and the Frose was to die for!

Hotel San Jose is such a special retreat!! A little gem in a fabulous location. The lush courtyard and heavily treed paths make you forget you’re in the heart of S Congress, literally across the street from the world-famous Continental Club. The staff are super nice, the beds are comfy and the room is quiet. Highly recommend.

The Hotel San Jose is where we call home when we are in Austin because they make you feel like you’re at home, but with such personal and attentive staff. The rooms are lovely and minimally perfect in vibe. And the courtyard bar and plunge pool are chill like Austin. The froze all day is heavenly. Can’t recommend the San Jose highly enough!

We always try to stay at the San Jose when we visit Austin. Great vibe, super well appointed rooms, good air conditioning and we love sitting on the patio enjoying a drink and good food. Friendly service, clean rooms. Highly recommend for a unique and cool vibe.

The customer service was beyond good. I had a problem with the air conditioning in my room and didn't sleep all night. The system said one thing but the air coming out was not cold. I advised the management in the morning when checking out and they said they would look into it. They actually did and gave me a credit towards my room rate. The place is eclectic, with a very good vibe and a great bar and patio frequented by locals and guests. It is a bit rustic for those of us spoiled with more lavish boutique hotels but it was clean, pleasant and fun. The location is great and there was secure parking on site. Highly recommend it. If you are older like me, you may want to request a ground level room. The stairs were unexpected and thankfully the reception woman was gracious enough to help with bags!

We had the most amazing time despite 4 out of our 5 days being rain! The accommodations and staff are second to none - best in the biz - cream of the crop. Bunkhouse hotels rule! You guys have been and will continue to be our hotels of choice when traveling.
