Excellent hotel. Perfect City location coupled with fantastic service. Large, modern rooms with comfortable beds and upscale amenities. Izak at concierge was truly professional and very client-oriented. Thank you for your persistence regarding our laundry request! Gym is amazing-in fact, world class. Loved the aromatic cold towels and cleanliness. Pool service was consistent and friendly. Housekeeping was sporadic and certainly let this hospitality team down. Room cleaning and the turn down service is a disappointing hit and miss.

I stayed at this JW Marriott for 3 nights for a conference held at the hotel. If you are lucky enough to have a conference at this hotel, the conference facilities are on the 3rd and 4th floors and they are so easy to access from your room. No lugging conference materials across skyways or streets. I arrived early (2:00) and was pleasantly surprised that I was allowed to check in early. This was on a Sunday after what I'm sure was a busy Saturday. This was very much appreciated as it allowed me to unpack and get our booth set up before our client dinner on Sunday night. Also, after a 3:00 a.m. wakeup call for an early flight, it allowed me to relax a bit, too. I got a king bed room on the 29th floor. The room was spotless and housekeeping services kept it clean twice daily (including turndown service). The room included a mini-fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, safe, robes, slippers, side chair, and lots of outlets near the bed and desk area. I liked the shelves in the closet where I could stash things. The WiFi was lightning fast during my entire stay allowing me to deal with work issues throughout the conference. The room was well sound-proofed for a downtown hotel. I never heard my neighbors and the street noise at night was barely noticeable. The bath area was large and included a large shower stall, fluffy towels, makeup mirror, and some of the nicest body lotion I've found in a hotel lately. I also appreciated the vanity kit as I forgot to pack a nail file. The bed was also super comfy. Even the art work in the room was interesting. The fitness center is very important to me as I have to work out daily. It is open 24/7 and located on the 5th floor. There were plenty of sanitizing wipes, water bottles, and towels. There was so much cardio and weight equipment. I was able to replicate my at-home workout exactly. All the Life Fitness ellipticals I used worked well. I was grateful to be able to get a workout in at 4:30 a.m. on my departure day (another early flight). I was not alone in the fitness center, either. The pool really was a highlight. Sometimes hotels post photos that make the pool look larger than it is. Not this one. The pool was big enough to swim laps and empty before 9:00 a.m. There were plenty of loungers, day beds, and private cabanas for rent. You can easily access the pool from the higher floors. (I saw a review that stated you need to go through the lobby to access the pool. This is not correct.) I am so glad my hubby convinced me to pack my suit at the last minute! I didn't get to enjoy the Corner restaurant except for cocktails with my clients on Sunday and Tuesday. Our bartender on Tuesday was fabulous! So friendly and efficient. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. The conference facilities and food were very good to excellent. We had a last minute item shipped to the hotel (the JW has its own FedEx office). Good hotel overall a little expensive but we enjoyed the hotel very much. The hotel was in a great location with many things to do all around it was honestly good the rooms were always clean but the Pool was a little chilly. The views from our room was very nice and overall a good option if you’re staying in Austin.

Had an amazing stay here. Every single individual I interacted with was friendly, professional and helpful. Lots of dining options. Microwave for your room available upon request (based on availability). Clean, quiet rooms, nice views, great conference and event space. The catering food was wonderful. High-end presentation and it was all delicious.
