My family and I stayed at Embassy Suites for my daughter’s graduation, from the moment I started planning Jennifer Johnston was there every step of the way listening to every detail and ensuring everything was in place. Jennifer blocked off a set of rooms, help me with booking rooms and reserving a private event space. Everything was wonderful! Jennifer, the front desk attendants (Garren & Chanel), Katy and the catering staff provided us with a relaxing, enjoyable and stress-free weekend. We will be returning!!

Stay Away. This hotel is rundown & showing its wear & tear. The common areas are worn. The corridor carpet is dirty. My room was dirty. The sofa was stained. There is mold in the bathroom. The ice machine is inop on floors 6, 7 & 8. No one mentioned this at check in. The pics speak for themselves.

This hotel needs renovation and deep cleaning. The elevators both in the parking garage and the hotel are old and filthy. There is a musky odor throughout the hotel. Room decor is from the 90’s. The location is great for the music venues, especially ACL, but the cost does not justify the low quality. It felt like a budget hotel but costs like a premium hotel. Front desk staff was less than welcoming or friendly. I had issues with their digital key and had to go back to the desk and their response was “Oh, well. It happens.”.

For our wedding in Austin we did a hotel block with Embassy Suites. Jennifer Johnston was extremely helpful, timely, and informative. Our guests loved the rooms and accommodations. The hotel bar is a great open space where we all went for drinks the night before the wedding. The bar staff was incredible.

The hotel was in a great location, it was clean, inviting and the staff was all very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and the breakfast buffet was really good. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We usually travel for business but our trip in April was with family. Accordingly, we wanted a family oriented, casual, well-located hotel. The Embassy Suites Downtown Austin was all that. The lobby and main meeting areas were large, clean and convenient. The daily breakfast buffet was filled with hot and cold choices, with something for everyone. And the evening reception with snacks and drinks was also very well done. But the most important thing we encountered was the staff, including Jennifer Johnston, who was always there to help in a very personal and professional way. We truly appreciate the time and attention we received on our trip and the people who made it memorable!
