This is my go to when I want to stay in NW Austin. Plenty of free parking in hotel lot. Easy friendly check in. Drink coupons for free happy hour! Beautiful indoor atrium. Elevators could be a little faster or they need to always run both. Rooms are spacious and have a separate living area , kitchenette with small refrigerator, coffee service, and microwave. Bathtubs need some TLC attention or need to be replaced with walk-in showers. Terrific complimentary made to order breakfast is my favorite in Austin. This is my home away from home.

It was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had - the room smells like mold, the vanity drain and the bathtubs drain were both clogged, they couldn’t give us another room because they were sold out, and spent 30 minutes fixing it. They got gross amount of hair from each drain but they were still not working, so we just lived with 2 broken drain for 2 days. One of the two elevators was not working on the first day, and both elevators were under service the second day, so everyone at the hotel had to take the service elevator, which was very slow and crowded. The sound proofing between rooms was non-existing, we can hear every conversation from the adjacent room, and everything from the hallway. We were denied of late checkout with Diamond status. Oh, and they will start charging for parking soon! This was my first and will be my last time staying at any Embassy Suites.

This property has not been updated in a long time and is showing its age. The staff was friendly although they appeared understaffed often especially in the housekeeping department. That being said, the property is in a good location and there are a lot of food and activities available nearby.

Ordered Preferred snack package. It wasn’t in our room upon arrival. Front desk corrected this. Day 2 I had to call again for the snack tray. If I’m paying almost $80 for approx $15 retail value snacks, you best have it in my room and on time! Food options for dinner were just ok. Coffee could be stronger. Breakfast was pretty good. Room and lobby furnishings worn- needs updating. Registered for 3 guests- enough towels for 1 1/2 guests.

We stayed in this Embassy Suites last week for a reunion with old friends. The large atrium was a great place for hanging out and visiting. The evening happy hour includes snacks. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with many items, both hot and cold. The hotel has a nice indoor pool, jacuzzi, and exercise room. Our room was clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the toilet sometimes getting stuck. We brought that to the attention of the front desk. The hotel is a good place to stay in Austin, TX.

The shower did not have enough hot water either on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
I texted the same lady that asked how things were going right after check in and told the front desk at check out.

Our stay was terrible. I got stuck in the elevator. I cut my hand on a chair that was so old and had a nail sticking out of it. The room furniture was dirty. There was no hot water in the shower. I will never stay there again I did put in a request for the assistant general manager manager Christie to call me.

Hot tub not in working order, pool had visible floating debris, not a color that speaks to cleanliness.
Trash left all over hotel from evening through next day and till checkout.

A very disappointing stay overall. Would have been a one star review except that the staff was very friendly and did the best given the circumstances. The problems with the hotel are not with the staff and they were put in a horrible position. We stayed last weekend and found the hotel to be in horrible shape. 1)One of the two elevators was broken. 2)The HVAC was off for most of the stay. The staff was accommodating and moved our room to a floor where the window opened. This helped but I still found myself unable to sleep well for 2 of the 3 days because the room was so warm 3)One morning the hot water was not working on one of the mornings. 4)The room itself showed mold and other signs of a lack of upkeep. Overall this hotel did not meet the standards of Hilton properties that I am familiar with. I recently decided to switch brand loyalty to a different chain because of reasons completely independent from this stay, however based on the lack of quality control from Hilton I do not regret this decision. I feel bad for the staff at the hotel because for reasons beyond their control many of the guests were disgruntled.
