The restaurant wasn’t open and there was nowhere to get coffee at 8:30 am unless you like powdered creamer. I went to use the shower and the handle to turn on the water was sitting on the side of the tub. If the staff had cleaned the tub recently they probably would have noticed that and reported it. The tub may have been dirty or just stained yellow. We didn’t stick around to find out. Front desk was nice enough, but it took longer than it should have to check me in with him asking for, and returning my ID and credit card 3 different times.

Austin has a bit of a homeless problem. And that can mushroom into some of the areas around where the hotel is located, it’s not the properties fault, but it’s something that the whole city has to deal with. So you do need to be aware that that can be surrounding the area that you might be staying. Overall, once you get inside, the property is great. We’ve stayed there a number of times and would do so in the future. Good value for price. Excellent location.

Property could use a little rehabbing on the exterior but the interior is clean and cute retro decor. Would definitely stay there again.

We booked a room for four adults for 2 QUEEN beds. When we got there, there was a 50.00 deposit not included in my booking cost, and the room had two double beds. When we inquired at the desk, the staff said they didn’t have queen beds on site—only doubles and king. They are misrepresenting their property. Also, TV didn’t work. Wall of bathroom had not been cleaned.
