We enjoyed the room, clean and well maintained - the staff was lovely and always helpful - entertainment, food and drinks were great - could not ask for more!

We stayed at the Driskill for a long weekend and were not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional and attentive. The Driskill bar is not to be missed and this trip did not disappoint with a festive atmosphere and excellent live music.

I have lived in Austin my whole life and never stayed there until recently. If you want to experience Austin from it's rich history, this is the place to do it. Oldest hotel in Austin, but was recently renovated while still keeping that old charm. Breakfast was amazing and a wonderful experience. Our party had Steak and Eggs, Traditional Eggs Benedict, Texas Paris Eggs Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, children's Austin Breakfast, and the 1886 Bakery Cinnamon Roll. It was a perfect stay-cation.

It is a beautiful and historic property in the heart of Austin downtown. Some minor quirks with the hotel being built over a hundred years ago, but I would stay again. Super friendly staff, great food and cocktails, and an amazing breakfast from the bakery.

The Driskill is a top notch hotel. The room was outstanding and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've experienced! The bar/lounge area was lovely and the service was excellent.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff were very courteous and polite, but not particularly helpful. We had a variety of 'normal' questions regarding local dining, parking, and activity options, but the hotel staff was not very knowledgeable. For a more high-end hotel, we expected more.

This is a very historic hotel. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Local to all the restaurants and bars.

It was our second time to stay here and wish I would have gone with my instinct to stay somewhere different especially for the price. The location is not in the best area to say the least.
