I had a great stay. I always choose this aloft when visiting my company’s headquarters in Austin. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I’ve yet to have a single issue at this hotel, and I’ve stayed several times.

This is the only dirty NYLO I have stayed at and it is kind of filthy. When I checked in the lady at the desk informed me that they had no hot water but were working on it. She then proceeded to assign me the first room past the check in on the first floor. You could hear the lobby and bar area from the room quite well which made sleeping difficult. The room was dark and had no options for lighting. When I turned on my camera flashlight, I soon found out why. I don’t think they have ever dusted this place, the carpets were dirty and stained. The chair was stained with ketchup. At least I hope it was ketchup. Seriously gross.

Aloft are usually very nice hotels and this was no exception. The room was spacious, and they let you bring dogs for a $50 non-refundable fee. That's very normal and was expected. did not, however, expect to pay for breakfast items, especially a la carte. That was disappointing and the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Aloft was great overall. The only real issue I experienced with the property was the bedding. The sheets felt unclean and itchy. When I investigated in order to take a thorough look at them, they seemed to have a small red stain that looked like blood alongside lint build up. After that inspection, it seemed that the sheets were not as cleanly as they should have been.
Other than the bedding, the hotel was lovely.
