This hotel experience was absolutely amazing! It's located in a very trendy hip area of Austin with plenty of shopping, open air markets, and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. But the hotel itself is a real standout experience on its own. As soon as we pulled up we were met by their extremely professional valet Trent. He was amazing and friendly. We then went to the beautifully decorated lobby where we were greeted by Megan, Tanner, and Lexi who took care of our check in process and made us feel like friends, not hotel guests. The short walk to our suite was along a beautifully landscaped breezeway by the pool. When we made it to our room we were blown away by by the absolutely unique vibe and charm it exuded! While the trend is to decorate with a contemporary, almost sterile style, this room was a totally hip 70s throwback! The tile was vintage gold and tan color palate, and there were black and white portraits on the wall, and it even had a vintage yellow phone in the bedroom. The cherry on top was the HUGE private patio. I've literally never seen a hotel patio this big! We can't wait to return and HIGHLY recommend!

Loved the vibe and look. Our room was decent size. It opened to a fairly unfortunate alley where trash was thrown away late and early. We had an issue with our refrigerator beeping non stop in the middle of the night. Somebody looked at it right away but had to just unplug it. The location and price were great.

This beautifully designed hotel was in a great location for starters and the layout itself is perfectly thought out. Great and caring staff, a great place to spend a few days enjoying Austin and next time I plan on trying out the restaurant and pool!

client service was iconic! starting with trent at the valet and throughout our entire stay for the week. absolutely our fav place to stay in austin, and we’ll recommend to everyone! make a point to go to the pool and summer house restaurant. and we’ll def return again!🤝🤝🤝

Top tier experience, walking distance to so many SoCo places. Trent, Jay, and the rest of the valet staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Rooms were trendy and comfortable, and they left nice treats/water out for a great welcoming introduction.

My stay at Hotel Magdalena was an exceptional experience. From the spacious family suites to the delicious restaurant and top notch service, it did not disappoint. It is truly a hidden gem in one of the best locations in Austin. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
