Aloft Austin Downtown

Amazing hotel! Best locations. Really nice rooftop bar and restaurant

I liked the location on 7th street. Very close to the nightlife and music scene

The hotel is super cute/adorable, great location, great coffee shop & cute bar patio. BEST location, able to walk all around Downtown Austin, can't say enough of how great the location is. But I was given the handicap room, very spacious but odd with low lighting, no place to hang towels in bathroom & just strange setup. It also didn't have a full length mirror. The room was cleaned late in the day, so around 5/6 PM came back to the room to change for the evening & room wasn't clean.

The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating.

It was our first time in Austin and we wanted to stay in a centrally located, modern hotel and the Aloft did not disappoint. Location was great. Within a block or so from the main *****. We took an upgraded corner window room. When we got there they had one ready for us but it was on a lower floor. Since we like higher rooms for views, we opted to wait for a later check-in when a higher floor room would be ready. We dealt with Ria and she made sure to let us know when the room was ready. She was great. Our room was very nice and had great views. The furniture is kind of placed in an odd way to actually obscure the windows. Like the TV is planted smack in front of the window and they have a bench that is in front of another window which then makes it hard to take in the views. We took care of that issue but sliding the bench to the other side by the wall and slid the TV a bit to the right. And that made all the difference in the room. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Aloft Austin Downtown the next time we visit Austin.
