Only a flying visit unfortunately, I was well looked after by the staff and had a great dinner even though I was late arriving, breakfast was good too, I had a top floor room (which I think is now my favourite) it was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Until my next adventure!!

Such a wonderful find. A beautiful warm welcome as soon as we arrived. We were quite late getting there and Jasamina got us some delicious soup from the kitchen even though dinner service was over. The whole hotel is so tastefully Scottish decorated and spotlessly clean. Our en-suite room was charming , a mix of old world inn and modern furniture. The sleigh bed was really comfortable with 100% white cotton bedding. The shower was wonderful, there was a plentiful supply of hot water and the towels were super white and fluffy. The breakfast was just amazing with lots of choice and really delicious set us up for the long trip back to Bath Well worth the money.

Came for dinner without pre booking. Not high season being early May). Was immediately offered comfy lounge seating for a pre meal drink or direct to table. Service friendly and prompt. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent, most enjoyable stay at the Rowan Tree Country Hotel, traditional, but sympathetically updated. Very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, great view over the hills too. lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Warm and welcoming with log fires to relax at in cosy lounges. Meals were first class with plenty of choice on the menu. Lots to see and do in the area, something to suit all tastes.

Very friendly staff, good food, and comfortable room. Highly recommended. We planned to stay for just one night but stayed an extra night as it was such a great place to stay. We'll certainly be staying there again if we can. Thanks to all the staff.

This is a lovely independent hotel with a great restaurant and excellent attentive staff.We enjoyed our stay away from the hustle of the town , peaceful and 10 minutes stroll the loch. Go and support an independent business and not the mass multiples.

A wee gem, home from home with such a warm welcome. Special shout out to Sheenagh who always goes out of her way to make us all feel welcome. We’ve visited a few times, but this was our first break away with our dog, and Sheenagh was just lovely with her. Excellent service and food. Comfortable and clean accommodation with everything we needed. For the adventurous types, G2 Outdoor have amazing zip wire trails just down the road from the Rowan Tree.

My partner and I had a lovely stay in the Rowan Tree Hotel. We were given a nice welcome and our room was also upgraded as we had won an overnight stay there! Breakfast was all you could ask for, very well cooked with plenty options. The room was lovely, comfy bed, nice view of the loch and mountains, everything spotlessly clean. After visiting nearby Aviemore we sat in the hotel bar in front of a open log fire with a nightcap. All in all a very nice hotel

Nice staff and convenient location. Nice breakfast. Appreciated the fires downstairs in the bar and nook, though the lounge itself was like someone's front room and unused. Comfy beds and decent bathroom. Our main complaint was the doors were freshly painted and the window hadnt been opened so we were breathing in toxic fumes all night - had to sleep with the window open. Did attempt to find someone at 1am but no night manager number on front desk. Restaurant was getting very hot so heating turned off, but this included our rooms! Electric heater was provided on request. Staff seemed to have accidentally set the fire alarm off at midnight (maybe it was the heat downstairs) but they responded quickly which is good to know. Would probably stay again, maybe on an upper floor bigger room though.
