Novotel is like Novotel, standard and at the same time decent level of service. Quite suitable for a 1-2 day stay in Avignon.

Very convenient, across the road is the old town of Avignon, the service is so-so, the room is a guest house. I ordered a big bed and a sofa, and the Ctrip agent ordered a double bed. The price difference was at least 50 euros, and the agent paid the difference.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Payed €220 a night for old-stained room furniture, neglected pillows, no room clean-up, terrible noise insulation, mediocre food, rotting apples on breakfast buffet, ice-cold temperature pool, no apology and an offer to reimburse the cost of parking for all the inconveniences (which equaled 5% of the total amount charged for our stay). This is what you’d expect from a 2-3 star hotel that charges no more than €80 a night.
