Not the best experience for us. The room was small , had two small pillows and 1 bath towel and one hand towel for two guests. The resption was very good and further pillows were promised . Fast forward an hour , change of staff , no pillows now available , they are full ! Certainly did not seem so. Addityional towels the following day were no issue. The pool was nice , though not heated , the evening meal was good as was the service. Breakfast also was good and plentiful. However important detail not mentioned when we booked , or advertised in hotel was that the restaurant was closed on the Sunday night. Food of sorts was available. Shame it could have scored a lot better

It was a privilege to stay in this immaculate, charming and tastefully renovated guest house located in what was once a 13 Century monastery within the walls of the historic city of Avignon. There are several good choices of rooms and suites and we had everything we needed at our fingertips. We so enjoyed the lovely courtyard in the center of the property. Owners, Sabine and Patrick were kind, helpful and welcoming and we so enjoyed being within walking distance to wonderful restaurants and historic locations. We especially enjoyed stepping out of the front door of the guest house to visit the market that offered beautiful flowers we enjoyed all week, delicious foods and crafts. Parking is available if needed as well as lots of good advice for your stay. We loved our stay her and will return.

A few stops from the railway station by bus. It costs 1.4 Euros to take a bus. It is very convenient to walk past without luggage. The apartment is opposite the ancient city wall. We stayed at Mas Chateau Blanc for a week, this past June. It was our base for daily excursions in the region and we could not have chosen a more perfect spot. The farmhouse is located in the heart of the Ile de la Barthelasse, a mere ten minute drive to either Avignon or Villeneuve les Avignon, but far away from noise and the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. As many reviewers have mentioned, the house has been completely renovated and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and well appointed, including the bathroom, with a lovely view of the garden. There are coffee and tea making facilities and the A/C was working perfectly, which was great since we stayed during the recent heatwave. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning, especially the assortment of fresh fruit and the homemade jam. The owners are very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations for everything from restaurants to excursions. We cannot recommend Mas Chateau Blanc highly enough for a stay in Provence.

The staff is very friendly, very welcome, warm and to listen. The rooms are sympathetic, the bed is very comfortable but the bathroom is a little small and the water of the shower and the couch are not very well adjusted (low pressure, very hot/cold water disturbance for the shower, The TV is very convenient in the room, but the wifi network does not necessarily work well (it takes time to load little used personally because it was very much...).
