Staff were lovely and very helpful. Changing room for swimming pool is very small and has no secure locker. It needs to get updated

Creaky floor boards are not great when people are coming and going. The room was very spacious and the shower was nice and powerful
We had dinner and breakfast both were excellent and had good choices, staff are very helpful and very pleasant

We had an amazing stay in the Fairfield! The room was exceptional with a fantastic sea view. The shower was so good, it was difficult getting out of it. I could have stayed there all day. The jacuzzi was so relaxing, especially after our long walks and added bonus of TV, if you prefer watching a programme during your bath. It is a bit frayed at the edges but we don’t mind that. It is more homely than clinical. The staff are excellent both at breakfast and in the bar. We did come down from the Lochside Spa Hotel after a wedding and again, the staff were excellent there. The hotel company has got its customer service perfectly right. Will definitely return when we are back in Ayrshire.

Only stayed one night here in this hotel, being wary after a mediocre previous experience, but the place had really improved and we were really impressed! Room was clean and very well equipped (excellent refreshment tray, hair dryer, iron & board, make-up mirror etc). Tons of hot water and large fluffy towels. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and relaxed in the sauna and steam room. However, the biggest improvement for us was the breakfast. This had a great selection of fresh fruit, cereals. breads and rolls plus a generous hot plate menu. Staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Hotel location is perfect for beach strolls or a wander into town. All in all an excellent mini-break.

Stayed at this fantastic hotel as we always do for our wedding anniversary. The reception staff were fantastic and so accommodating. The room was amazing as was the room service food. Breakfast which was run like clockwork by the lovely Carol was fantastic. The Manager Ray has amassed and retained a fantastic team. Please if you are planning on a visit to burns Country don't miss this Gem . Outstanding quality of service and attention 👏 👌 👍

1 st time at this hotel our room was really nice and spacious we were really pleased with room . Dinner and breakfast was also really nice .The only thing was our room was next to cleaners cupboard and could hear cleaners quite loud early in morning which was disappointing . Other than that be more than happy to visit again .

Back today from a fantastic night at this hotel. I will be honest, I had read a few poor reviews & wasn’t sure what to expect but we could not fault anything. The location of excellent & hotel spotless. The staff were all lovely, at reception, bar & restaurant, everyone was so pleasant & helpful. Thanks to Nicola for sorting my booking & a great family room, was great. We went for a swim, pool is small but perfect & even it’s Easter week, didn’t feel too busy. The food in restaurant was lovely, great menu for DBB deal, was yummy. Thanks all, we will be back for sure.

Man taking videos of females in swimming pool - when management alerted they said he was allowed to !! Disgusting. Eventually police contacted who are reviewing whether it breaches threshold of criminalty - cannot understand why the RAD group who own lots of hotels in Ayrshire condone this.
