"This in the UK is labelled a budget hotel so I was not expecting much. The staff were friendly and helpful. No fridge in the rooms and only 30 mns. of free wifi were a downer. Great access for A77 and a very good restaurant next door as Travelodge don’t do food. Room rates are fine for budgets but if they increased their room rates above £60 per night their would be a backlash."

"The room was comfortable and clean, and great for our brief stay. Parking wasn't clearly signed and it wasn't clear that there was an additional fee for parking until we were checking in (£8, and it covered until 12pm the following day), but the staff were all really friendly and helpful."

"Rooms were clean and adequate. Staff attentive and friendly. However, there was a Wedding on the same day and when we arrived for our evening dinner, we didn't get our starters until 8.45pm when our table was booked for 6.30. Although, to be fair to the staff, we were 25minutes late. We had an 20mth old boy with us, who sat very patiently waiting for a pizza. This took 1hr 45mins to be brought out. We were then told that the Chef was having a meltdown in the kitchen.Cant fault the waiting staff, but if you want to starve to death or eat at midnight then this is the place to go."

"Was down for the Airshow yesterday and stayed overnight. Although we were due to check-in at 2pm, the host Julia allowed us to do it earlier meaning we could go and enjoy the show. She also emailed a few days before explaining how the parking permit would work on the day of the event, which was great and stress free. Perfect location, 5min walk to the beach, 5min walk to the main street with bars/restaurants. The room was fine, nice and clean and we had a great night's sleep. Scottish breakfast was lovely. Overall great experience, Julia the host was very friendly and welcoming. Will definetly be booking back up for next year 😄"
