We were excited to be able to stay at this hotel after seeing posts on Instagram from the hotel and partnered influencers. First of all I would like to emphasize that the place, the lake, the mountains, the setting, the view from the hotel, and the buildings are sumptuous. It’s really very, very beautiful. First step: Check-in, there were 3 of us and we had reserved 2 rooms. When we arrived after 4 p.m. and after a 6-hour drive, a room was not ready and moreover we had asked to have rooms rather close together (we had made a single reservation in the same name for two rooms) and in the end we were completely opposite (ground floor and 4th floor). Then we returned to the rooms: what was our disillusionment because they are pretty (if we don't consider seen on stone and the lack of light) but THEY ARE DIRTY (full of dust, dead insects, and there we had shoe marks on the bed 😳), a disaster. We also did not have hot water the first evening and it is very difficult to contact the Service Desk. Concerning the common areas, we wanted to go to this place to enjoy the swimming pool and the lake. There are 3 swimming pools, two outdoor ones which are frozen and one indoor swimming pool which is not only frozen but also dirty. We also went pedal boating on the lake, it was very nice (best memory of this stay)!!! However, on the way back we asked to be transported by the golf cart, we were told ok and to wait on a bench. After 20 minutes still no car, so we went back up the mountain alone… THE WORST: the restaurant!!! First evening, I ordered a beef/prune tagine, I was only served the bones of the meat (I suppose it was the bottom of the pan because he was not able to reserve me a tagine). Second evening, when we wanted to go to the restaurant, we were told that we needed a reservation (even though in the first instructions, we had been told the opposite), so we had to go to another restaurant (which is usually closed) and we ordered a burger which arrived still frozen (the meat and the bread). Frankly, it's VERY rare to eat this badly in Morocco, I think that even in gas stations the food is better. I think the most frustrating thing is the real difference in trea**ent between VIP guests/influencers and ordinary travelers. I assure you that the service is catastrophic, it is unheard of in all my travels in Morocco and around the world. No consideration, no gesture, no kindness (except of course certain workers who had absolutely nothing to do with it), it was truly a nigh**are at the hotel for 750 euros for 2 nights (including transport)!!!!!!!
