This resort hotel is about 5-10 minutes drive from the center of Beining. It is convenient to get in and out by taxi. My family stayed for 2 nights here. Although it is a 5-star hotel, according to what I experienced here, it is not up to that standard. Our room is quite big with 2 single beds. The floor is quite old and dirty carpet. There are still traces of coffee or food that are not cleaned. The shower in the bathroom is old rusty. The worst is the water system. When taking a bath, it is too cold, sometimes it turns to be too hot. The hotel needs improvement. The plus point is that the staff is quite pleasant and enthusiastic.

This time my colleagues still booked this place for them when they went out. The front desk was still very enthusiastic as before. The hotel owner is Chinese, so many at the front desk can speak Chinese. It is necessary to book in advance. There are no rooms available for booking online on the same day.

The reason for the 4smiles for their services is basically due to the staffs un-bilingual. It would earn extra if they are able to communicate in other language rather than just Vietnamese. But overall, the service is good, in one way they observed serving other type of breakfasts rather than the usual Vietnam breakfast as they also consider English/Korean breakfast, partly due to lots of Korean people staying/working around the area.
