The setting was great. The dock is very nice. Not tons of guest (only a few rooms) so it is pretty private), almost a hostel type of feel. Kayaks being available was very nice. I liked the location and exterior more than the room, and on vacation I try to see the inside of a hotel room as little as possible. In this regard, it was a win. Here's a tip: don't miss the sunrise. Disliked · Some of the same things that are nice are also not as nice. It has a hostel-type of feel in facility and staffing. For example, some bedding was missing and we didn't discover it until late (it was for a pull-out trundle bed) and of course the staff was asleep. A minor quibble, but at a certain price point, you can call the front desk at any hour and get a response. Also, they want you to separate your garbage, which I don't do at home or abroad, and so you basically don't get a trash can. I used to separate garbage until I learned it is basically a scam. I don't plan to participate in someone's virtue signaling or delusion while on vacation. Also, don't expect coffee with your sunrise, it won't be ready for a bit. We travel with instant coffee and they did have a spot to heat water, so it was fine.

We were 3-generation family, mother, daughter(13), grandmother. This place was everything we needed; easy access to that turquoise water whenever we chose, upon waking, kayaking out for sunrise or sunset or just because.., slipping into the water any time. We appreciated the warm welcome, helping ground us to good close-by food options, etc. They've been around pretty much the longest of anyone along that shore and they clearly know their trade. We really enjoyed our stay.
