Landhaus Fay B&B

Amazing stay, beautiful and clean room, delicious breakfast and really amazing staff. I will go Back There for sure and recommend it! A lot of tips what to visit, the host was Very friendly As the place There.

Going to Wolfgangsee-area for a few days, we booked our accommodation very late and decided to go for this B&B--Landhaus basically because of the good reviews. And I am very glad we did. We were so well received and taken care of by the brittish owners; and working in tourism ourselves, it is so heartwarming when we meet true hospitality on our travels. Also, the Landhous Fay is located in a beautiful setting, a perfect base for exploring Bad Ischl and the sourrounding mountains. Our warmest recommendations.

We have just finished a trip across Switzerland and Austria finishing in the wonderful spa city of Bad Ischl again staying at Landhaus Fay. For us the location is ideal being just outside the city limits giving access to tracks across the fields and into the woods to explore, whilst still being with very easy reach of the city centre itself. We love the quietness of the area, so relaxing after the constant traffic of where we live. The couple who run the guesthouse, Mark and Nicky do make one feel so welcome and have a wealth of knowledge of things to do and places to visit especially all the wonderful lakes even to recommending Altaussee, where one can have a refreshment at the hut in which Mr White was confronted by James Bond. Bad Ischl is a glorious spa town, so elegant reminding me of Bath, but without the hoards of shoppers. A must is to make a stop at Zauner's by the river for coffee and cake during the day and the Weinhaus, (booking recommended) also by the river, for an evening meal.

Beautiful and quiet site, cosy decoration with a lot of good taste. An enchanting breakfast room and a welcoming littel garden with simple chairs and table - you notice easily- you really do NOT need so much to be happy However I seem to have missed something: I cannot remember the vast swimming pool displayed on the ajoining Foto of the "Landhaus Fay" on the page presented....?? Perhaps a real foto of the nice little villa would do better...?

I recommend Landhaus Fay to everyone who wants to relax in a calm, pleasant and beautiful environment! Fabulous place and fabulous hosts! Nicky and Mark were very very kind and helpful! The room and the house were amazing, clean, and beautifully designed! We felt as if we were at home, everything was PERFECT! Breakfast was rich and generous. We loved every second in Landhaus Fay and would definitely want to return! Thank you so much for everything, we fell in love with the place, it was a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Landhaus Fay for one night in September. Nicky and Mark are gracious hosts and we were warmly welcomed. The house is not far from the centre of Bad Ischl but in a nice quiet neighbourhood. No traffic and noisy streets here and very quiet at night. The room had 2 twin beds as requested and was cozy and comfortable. Everything was spotless. The breakfast room upstairs was well stocked and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nicky provided us with the names of some great restaurants and things to do in the area. I definitely would recommend this B&B

The room was very pleasant and clean (cleaned every day). The breakfast was good. The most important thing for us was the pleasant and warm hospitality of Mark and Niki. Mark’s recommendations for trips and attractions in the area were excellent. On our next visit to the area we will surely return there.

Amazing 4 days at Landhaus Fay, nicky and mark will make you very welcome. lovely breakfast and beautiful furnished rooms, so peaceful. their knowledge of the area helped us get the most of our stay, they have thought of everything to make our stay one to always remember in Austria
