We sadly only stayed for one night as part of a whistle stop tour but this stay truly the most magical of them all. Andrew and his team were exceptionally hospitable and always on hand to answer any request. The scenery is quite extraordinary set in the hillside overlooking the jungle and you really feel at one with the surroundings. The food is excellent and also had to be some of the best hotel food we had! A truly special place and well worth a visit to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

Beautiful place, staff are amazing. WiFi great. Mojitos are the best ever! The walk through the grounds to the viewpoint to see the waterfall was fantastic. Views are spectacular. Food is wonderful. Only downside is that there is no air conditioning anywhere, only fans. Wish we had longer here as only stayed one night. Would highly recommend. Rooms are enormous.

It’s amazing experience in Melheim resort, specifically thanks to Mr.Andrw RM and the staff grateful welcome and treated.so I guess who will like to travel and get very good echo friendly experience must visit to the melheim resort and spa in Beragala Haputhale,Sri lanka.

We were welcomed with smiles and friendliness from all the staff.We loved the layout of rooms descending down the hill. This ensured each room felt private and each room had a great view. The natural but meticulous landscaping made the resort feel very elegant. The grounds of the hotel felt very serene.We are not very happy about the food.Overall experience was great.recommend Melheim.

We visited as part of our honeymoon tour of Sri Lanka and this was a definite highlight. Stunning boutique hotel - impeccable service, grounds and food. Gorgeous pool which we spent a lovely afternoon beside following the train from Nuwara Elia, followed by unforgettable walk out to the view point and delicious 4 course meal. Loved the fire pit for drinks post dinner to take the stars in - do not miss!!

Prachtig hotel in de bergen met fenominaal uitzicht. Echt de moeite waard om een paar dagen te spenderen. Veel natuur in de omgeving, lipton theeplantage. Een mooie uitval basis om je reis te plannen. Zowel diner als ontbijt heerlijk, srilankaanse en europeese gerechten zijn verkrijgbaar. Kamer heeft goede bedden, zeer schoon, hoge plafond, warm water en ventilator en een groot balkon met weer zo'n mooi uitzicht. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Pas op voor de vleermuizen, vogels en eekhoorns deze dieren maken je verblijf nog leuker :-).

Fabulous food . Room very basic . Food unfortunately not great . We stayed for 1 night and glad it was only 1 . Very steep walk to you accommodation . Over-all OK.

La vue est magnifique ! 🤩 Belles chambres, très joli cadre au milieu des plantations de thé, apaisant et reposant. Personnel au petit soin. 22 chambres, une jolie piscine et un restaurant animé par un cuisinier qui cuisine devant vous. Je recommande.

Our experience at Melheim was amazing. The staff were very hospitable and they were some of the nicest people you could meet. The food was quite delicious and the seafood options were mouth watering. Our room was spacious and the facilities were more than adequate for our stay. We also got the opportunity to trek in the hotel's own forest, which was a fascinating experience. The picturesque environment was also visible from all angles of the hotel, which further enhanced our experience. Overall experience was great with no cons. Highly recommend Melheim.
