First stay for a few years as haven't been back in Kuching since 2020. Very happy to see the hotel is even better than I remembered. The rooms have been touched up and feel almost new ! Pool is as good as I remembered, the special shape is interesting. Breakfast definitely good ... in fact ate there for lunch (buffet) and dinner over our 4 days in Kuching which we seldom do as we miss the local food. Prices are very reasonable (maybe even too cheap??haha) and great quality / taste. Also very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a shuttle service to Kuching Festival for all guests, saved us on grab fare and so convenient !! Even our relatives parked their car here and ”lumpang” . Thank you to the friendly staffs !!!

Receptionist are ok.
Room windows are dirty, you cant see the view outside because of the mould are everywhere outside of the window. Room itself is ok but carpet are not that clean with used tissues and shredded papers on the floor. Iron is provided which is great. Breakfast is simple with 2 cereal options, 2 types of pastry, one bread with fruit jam/butter/kaya, scrambled egg, baked beans and fried noodle. Drinks got two options either cordial or hot coffee but acceptable since the breakfast costs only RM19/pp.

Of all the Marriott properties I have been to, this one has the best customer service by far. Ms Sabrina greeted my friends and I at check-in and personally showed us to our room, every staff member was polite and fast to help with anything. We got upgraded from original booking superior to a deuxe room due to high occupancy they said but nevertheless appreciate the gesture! Breakfast has a lot of options, the restaurant is good and there are lots of seafood restaurants next door(UTC) Loved the newly opened Tabby Bar sunset view. If you have status, points or upgrade nights this is the place to use them. I'd like to thank Ms Sabrina, Mr Faizul, Mr Abang from the staff for making our time here 5 Stars. They all gave us the VIP experience, we will definitely be back with family.

Location was the best, close to river banks and center. Topspot food center within 5 min walk. The room has everything you can ask for, we were surprised by the choice offered for breakfast, however every hot items on offer was plain cold, which was a shame really. Staff was really helpful and nice, rooftop swimming pool nice, but it was impossible to use it on week end days as it was full of kids and families. For those reasons we chose to rate ”average” and also because the Wifi is limited or non existent.

I came with my mom for the Raya. I stay 3 nights with them and got a standard double room. I came by 10.30 in the morning and wishing to enter my room. They allow me to!! Thank you so much because I needed after a long trip, flew from Surabaya to Pontianak and road trip by bus to Kuching. The room was large and good with no window there. The sink is outside the bathroom but it looked clean and ok. The bath room is big and clean. My phone couldn't connect to the hotel's wifi, I think it because my room is to far from the router. They have stable hot water. During my stay, the elevator was under maintenance twice. But it was ok since the building only has two stories. The hotel used to have a restaurant but they were closed during my stay there. I book the hotel online. So it will be cheaper. Kuching Waterfront is 20 minutes walking distance. So yes, the hotel is in the city center! If you interested to some beer and nightlife, there are two beerhouse, 7-11 and local merchant back at the hotel.

2nd time and with my parents in the another room. Very satisfied with hilton and this time the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were in big bottles mounted on the wall. Only thing is the aircondition is a bit loud at night. Other than that, all’s great!

Great location and nice view from the room facing the river. All staff from consierge, front desk, house-keeping, pool bar were exceptional and helpful. Services at the restaurant need improvements - wrong orders, slow and doesn't understand simple request even in local language.

everything was amazing, the hotel decoration itself were aesthetic and beautiful which is higher than my expectation (for 3 star hotel), except.. there are parts that are not so clean in the bathroom like yellow stain or sumn. other than that everything was great. hope to see improvement (sental samban pls) next time i go there. thank you

the hotel was conveniently located and is easily found. my stay was very enjoyable. my room was large and it made movement within the room very convenient. the bed was large and very comfortable and I like the colour and the decor in the room. i found the Reception Staff very friendly, fast and obliging. breakfast was very good. a lot of varieties : hot cold food, pastries fruits coffee tea, so tasteful. my girl friend and i was very happy and pleased with one day stay. our only regret was that we could not stay longer. we will recommend the hotel to everyone and will return for sure ! will definitely come again !

First and foremost would like to thank the front office team for arranging such a special moment for us and was so welcoming and nice from start to finish. The room from from the comfort, the amenities, the cleanliness is all great! We really love the bathtub as everything is already prepared. Breakfast was really nice and lovely. The spread was great, the food is delicious, the staff was really nice and attentive. Me and my partner loved both pools our private room pool and also the main pool was great! They have special event on the 1st night of Gawai for all hotel guests which is very happening.
The hotel provided toilet amenities such as shower gel and shampoo from Loccitane brand. Also there is complimentary pillow sleep which promote deep sleeps.
The downside is the room is not clean. Maybe due to high occupancy and not enough time to clean thoroughly. There are spider web, dust on the glass cabinet, little cockroaches.
Also, as advertise in Trip.com, they room is sea view, but I get the room with hill view (and limited ocean view)

Hhelen_ngauI had a school reunion dinner on 14/9/2019 and it happened that the venue was chosen as to mark our memories of the building history of an ”Roxy cinema” to Roxy hotel and our school which was and still is just opposite the hotel. We used to see movies at the cinema after our Friday classes ended at 12.30pm. The food serves and during the dinner was perfect and affordable The room is clean, bed is comfortable except the layout of the coffee/tea , writing table need to rearrange for better spacing , the hanging of clothes and hangers are not suitable because it looks ugly too with our naked eyes. There is so much more to do on deco to make it a better place to stay. Would like the management to just pay a little bit of services to make guests happy like welcome drinks. The dinning at Cha Cha Restaurant at Level 7, need alot of improvement especially the buffet breakfast - there should be a bit variety of food eg fried noodles, fried rice, a mixture of salad, mixture of 2 fruits cakes/ buns . The waiter and waitress are excellent - tip top service to clear the tables

GGuest UserI opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

LLyndy_11The rooms are indeed aging but it is still clean and most importantly very spacious. Check-in is a little slow at times. Nice resort to getaway which is not too far from Kuching city. Nice beach for kids to play around. Breakfast is also nice with variety.
