"Apartment-type rooms have kitchen equipment The room type is large compared to other hotels. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. It is very convenient to take the airport bus and the Blue Lake bus. The city is concentrated in such a place. Trip.com booked a standard suite can live three people. When booking, two and three people have the same room rate, so it is convenient to fill two people. As a result, I went to the hotel and was charged 60 euros. I thought that if I fill one person, I would have to pay 120 euros more? Everyone can pay attention to this, communicate in advance to avoid unnecessary losses. More suitable for travelers who need to cook, if the oyster is not recommended for a short stay, staying at an ordinary hotel is more cost-effective."

"It was easy to find the hotel and my room. The code on the door was kept switching but eventually got inside. It’s not a luxury but you got everything you need. The kitchen has all basic stuff and even tea and coffee. It wasn’t busy and I felt safe there. I’m happy with my stay. A little walk down from the hotel and you reach this beautiful view which is gorgeous."

Amazing
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel and excellent location (I had a view of the main square and parliament building). The staff was very helpful, professional and friendly. Food in the restaurant was superb with selected dishes from the local cuisine. The Spa design has taken inspiration from Icelandic nature in both colours, materials and textures, and is a fantastic addition to the experience with thermal pool, steam room, sauna, cold mist/rain and cosy relaxation areas.
Would highly recommend choosing this hotel when visiting Reykjavik, or using it as a base when exploring further around.
PPrestige MI set foot in Iceland for the first time in my life 🇮🇸 I was sent email information the night before I landed, I still didn't know the room before arriving. Luckily before leaving I found what’s app on the apartment’s official website had contacted, the other person said he did not receive the email? Send again immediately, otherwise everyone will be stunned. When I got downstairs and didn't know which building, I had to wait for the other person to reply. When I knew which building, I gave less than the password downstairs and waited for a round. This aspect really needs to be improved. We won't guess which one it is, and we won't know how many sets of passwords need to be entered. We waste a lot of time waiting! ! Let our trip not have enough time to see the aurora! The WiFi password to the apartment was not provided by itself, and the arrangement was very confusing. Room no major problems, clean, heating, extremely small water pressure, hot water enough, a small terrace, kitchen has enough cooking tools, but no oil, in the suite d windows feel wind blowing in, bathroom windows only two translucent curtains, in the morning look up the glass top. . . .
SShanghai based coupleA once-in-a-lifetime trip made more meaningful and charming by world-leading staff and service.
We messaged ahead and told them that we were on our honeymoon. Iceland is a unique place on Earth, but almost as surprising as the geology, geography and weather was just how remarkable and excellent this hotel was. Its location was outstanding right in the old city centre and an easy walk to boat trips (for organised bus trips, which all use the same bus stop numbering, the nearest bus stop is number 5, about 5 minutes’ walk away), the breakfast was splendid and the room was unbelievably cosy, which was particularly welcome after a winter’s day adventuring amongst the ice and snow and especially the epic and cold wind.
This once-in-a-lifetime trip was made extraordinarily special by the outstanding and attentive staff who really impressed with their thoughtfulness and commitment to excellence throughout. We cannot thank the whole team enough, both everyone we met as well as everyone who worked behind the scenes, for delivering a world-leading stay.
We felt exceptionally lucky to have chosen this hotel, and so delighted that we did!
FFeahrwolfI stayed at the City Center Hotel in Reykjavik and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect: right in the city center, within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. Ideal for exploring Reykjavik on foot.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Despite being in a central location, the soundproofing was very good, making it easy to rest.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with recommendations or any needs that arose. I would also highlight the breakfast, varied and tasty, perfect for starting the day with energy.
CChuckHotel Holt was a fantastic find for us! It is a throwback to days glamore! It is a beautiful facility well maintained and very clean. We loved looking at all the art prices hung through out the Hotel and rooms. It really does give that 50-60s vibe! We even had a real key for our room. Really loved staying there.
CCynthia BurggraaffExcellent budget hotel. Good location couple of things to note probably @ Trip.com fault not hotel
Your booking doesn’t guarantee “free parking” you only get that if booking direct. Trip falsely advertise free parking. Also there was a surcharge to pay at check in approx 800 krona again trip won’t disclose this. For these reasons I avoided booking through trip my next booking.
Hotel was excellent and good fresh breakfast.
AAiyidalidenanrenThe room is relatively large, the price/performance ratio is very good, it is clean and sanitary, the kitchen facilities are complete, and the location is convenient. It is very close to bus 9. The only drawback is that you can't check in your luggage. Of course, this is also the case for self-service hotels. In short, I am still very satisfied.
XxiinnwandersUnit 403 is way better than Unit 402! More spacious with 2 washrooms provided. Most importantly, their water heater works perfectly fine. I love the self-check-in system which is easy, quick, and seamless. The same goes for their luggage storage room! We were lucky to be able to witness the aurora from our unit!
馬馬高佬Environmental location: The hotel is located in the city center or the seaside. It is surrounded by attractions, shopping malls and dining streets. The transportation is very convenient. It is close to the bus station and the pier. It is suitable for tourists to explore the local scenery on foot. Most travelers emphasize its superior location, fast access to major sightseeing areas and shopping centers, and there are supermarkets and other living facilities around, improving the convenience of living.
Facilities and sanitation: The rooms are clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds, adequate storage space and modern appliances. Some rooms provide spacious space and sound insulation to ensure the quality of the accommodation. Although some comments mentioned that the bathroom design is more compact, the overall health status has been affirmed by most passengers and meets the expected standards.
Service quality: The front desk staff is friendly and professional, and can actively assist passengers in planning their itinerary, providing transportation information and solving sudden needs. Service processes are efficient, such as fast check-in and check-out procedures.
HHimynameisalexPerfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻
