Not much to look at on the outside but interior very acceptable

Contact with the accommodation was difficult and overly complicated. Given that most UK flights arrive into Reykjavik in the morning it would be nice to have somewhere to leave luggage for the day before check in is available. To my knowledge the property had no one onsite to help with any issues.

Check-in was easy. The property was clean and comfortable on the inside and had just what we needed for our stay. The neighborhood seemed kind of rough, and the areas all around the property were covered in graffiti and trash. Even though I received texts and emails checking in on us during our stay, I never got any response or personal communication when I requested a late check-out. Even if my request could not be accommodated, I would have liked a response from the property managers.

Just a few stwps from Rainbow Road. Less than 1 minute walk to Bus Stop 6. Ideal location. Property was fantastic, would definitely book again.

This property is located in the heart of the shopping/eating district with transportation options (bus pickup location) just around the corner. Communication with the operator was troublesome with the supplied door unlock code wrong on two separate stays before/after our island tour. The 2-person fold-out couch/bed is one room was terrible and uncomfortable (web straps stretched out) while the other room was fine. Both rooms had the problem of bath lights that cannot be turned off as well as some overhead lights in the apartment. Overall, the price was fair and the location was ideal.

The apartment we stayed in was on the 3rd floor so we had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights. When we first arrived there was the smell of sulfur - which went away after the first night. It was as if the apt sat vacant for a few days and the water in the drains had the smell. It has 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds. The place is large and is right off the main street so AMAZING location. Furnishings are modern.
