Wijaya Guest House Ubud

We’ve had a great stay at Wijaya. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Could choose from two types of breakfast, changing daily. Decent rooms, near/inbetween the rice fields (would recommend renting a scooter at the guest house and go left from there.) Follow the road and visit the locals inbetween the rice fields. Going right would bring you straight to Central Ubud. [ Be careful when getting a taxi if you come from the airport, they will tell you to pay more because it is not Central Ubud, make sure you set a price beforehand and explain it is further than Central Ubud, otherwise you’ll get ripped off or they will leave you on the side of the road if you refuse to pay more than the set price. Not only an issue when going to this guest house but with lots of taxi’s ]

advantage A two-story villa for one person, thatched tent! Even the bathrooms are open air. Then listen to the frogs and lizards tweeting around you, lying down and watching the stars in the sky ~ enjoy ... What I like the most is if you need to call housekeeper, just like Cinderella's stepmother called Cinderella service, ring your housekeeper's bell ~ but the housekeeper will come over, although Ubud's accent is like biubiubiu's bullet shot Understand, service is very warm, breakfast till 11.30 Yoga classes and cooking classes are available for you to play. Hot Stone Spa directly moves the bed to your room. The outdoor spa is so cozy! Hot Stone Spa for 90 minutes 700w # 小 秘密 # Weakness The hot water reserve is very small, just enough to wash your head quickly and it will be cold. After a while, you can use hot water to wash the cold The bedding quilt is just a thin blanket, and then a thin quilt is put on the blanket to sleep ... It is not wrapped in a sheet, it will run, this quilt will hit the body, it feels not very sanitary

The only good thing here is the number, but here are the disadvantages: 1. Dirty old pool, we’ve never even swam there, it’s scary 2. Dirty terrace with cigarette butts (poorly cleaned) 3. Poor water pressure 4. View of an abandoned building and construction site 5. We didn’t take into account the wishes for breakfast, mixed up the type of eggs and got a fingernail in the fresh juice. In general, when you book a villa, this is clearly not what you expect to see

Outstanding surroundings in pure nature- very much in the jungle, so quite an authentic experience. Beautiful rooms and ours was very private with a lovely private terrace. Pool area is stunning with jungle infinity pool. Unbelievable service - warm, friendly and very attentive. What a lovely family. Brother Putu couldn’t do enough for us and organised his friend to be our driver for the day and the chap was fantastic (His name is Wyan) He took us to multiple places for a set fare for 5 hours but as we wanted to see more he stayed on an extra 2 without question and didn’t ask for more money (unbelievable kindness) and seemed shocked when we offered him more. Putu’s sisiter is the loveliest person with the warmest smile. The breakfast is very good - excellent strong Bali coffee (quite muddy towards the end) but they happily gave me a little jug of hot water each time. The banana pancakes are out of this world and a must. Some things that would improve the experience - the room was beautiful but did have a strong smell of damp throughout ( it is in the jungle ) some incense throughout the room and bathroom would have helped. There is no facilities for snacks or drinks in the evening. Putu is always there so a little honesty bar with a fridge of cold drinks and snacks would be a great idea. We arrived very hungry and couldn’t get any food. It’s out the way of the centre or any goings on but it really doesn’t matter if you have a driver. If you arrive late at night, make sure you eat before you get there.

Me and some friends of mine booked the biggest villa and it was amazing! The staff is really friendly and helpful. We had a little tour, their dinner set up + food was awesome. I love their BBQ! They also offered us an authentic local cuisines for lunch. Duadari is really a perfect place for anyone who want to escape and get a full experience of Balinese vibes.
