If there was a "good" option to rate this on Trip Adviser we would have chose good but for a few reasons we couldn't rate it "very good" so had to put as the next best option "average". First of all, the bungalows, in our opinion are in a good position, just outside the main street which is very busy with traffic but still walking distance to bars/restaurants and the markets. The taxi could only drop off at the bottom of a steep hill that leads up to the reception area, absolutely fine for us but anyone that struggles walking may find this difficult, once up the hill there are steep steps too. The staff are lovely, really friendly, they helped take the bags to our room once we had checked in. We stayed in a family bungalow, it was lovely, traditional Balinese style, basic but everything you need, undercover area to sit outside with a table and chairs, big ground floor room with a gigantic bed, wardrobe, fridge, free tea/coffee, good size bathroom, open window in the bathroom so a few bugs now and again, up some steep stairs there was a second floor bedroom, again huge bed and another bathroom, there wasn't a safe in the room. Floor to ceiling windows both up and downstairs to appreciate the scenery surrounding you, it felt like been in a hut in the middle of the jungle, we loved the area around us and the different animal noises you could hear throughout the day and night. There is a nice sized pool, we pretty much had it to ourselves for the days we spent here, just enough sun loungers too. Breakfast was included, you order the previous day and it gets brought to your room, the breakfast wasn't good, it came stone cold, the toast was really stale and the drinks were awful, We wouldn't recommend including breakfast, just go for the room only option, there are restaurants just down from the hotel that have inexpensive nicer options. The room didn't get cleaned for our whole stay and towels were not changed either, we had to ask for toilet roll when we ran out too, if we had asked for more towels I'm sure the staff would have changed them but we had our own to use, we went out for full days and expected our room to have had at least a basic clean, in the end we had to put the rubbish in a pile outside the front door as the small bins inside the room were overflowing. Apart from the cleaning of the room and the breakfast everything was fine even though a little dated.
