Thank you Clove Tree Hill, what an amazing relaxing time we all shared amongst your beautiful rice fields and native forests… the best escape plan from the big smoke… from the purest spring water to the delicious cultural menu, from the coconut trees reflecting over the paddies, to the beautiful smiles and faces of Bali. Touching hospitality in a soothing sea of nature and rice fields. Dian and her staff welcomed us with the warmest of hospitality. The room was very well designed and fit in perfectly with the surroundings. The view is amazing. It relaxes you on the spot and forces you to forget time and the outside world. The only thing you can do is let go and slow down. Thank you Dian and staff for a wonderful stay.

We loved everything about our stay! All the villas are very private. The gardens are amazing and so are the views from the villa's. All the staff were very friendly and Dian went above and beyond to help in any way. The massages were wonderful and the guided tour with Agus was a highlight for me. His local knowledge and knowledge of plants and farming was excellent. If you are looking for a rainforest, walking, relaxing experience in an immaculately clean setting with yummy food then stay at Clove Tree Hill 🙂

Hidden gem! Great small and boutique hotel in a beautiful area. Staff are extremely nice, the view is unreal, the fresh water pool is amazing, the bedrooms are good size. Perfect place to relax, to meditate and to enjoy serenity! I will be back!

We spent two nights at Clove Tree Hill in the Kopi Villa. The villa was beautiful with a comfortable king bed and two couches on either side of the bed that could double as beds for children. There was ample storage for clothes and a large-lit mirror in the room. The large bathroom was an outside type with a nice rain shower and rack to hold drying towels etc. There was a small fridge as well and some a la carte snacks. The room also had a large open porch with a very big couch and two chairs and a small table. The rice field views were spectacular as were all the fantastic tropical plants surrounding the villa itself. My favorite was the Torch Ginger; a magnificent flower that is also edible and on their menu. This is a small intimate resort with a lovely pool and spa. There is also a path to a river and waterfall that has no typical crowds. The surrounding rice fields are among the largest and most beautiful terraced fields I have ever seen in Bali and we have traveled the island extensively. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the hotel staff. Dian and Bram are wonderful hosts whose staff were so welcoming and the food was spectacular. Don't miss the Clove Tree Chicken...it was superb as was the black rice pudding for breakfast. The resort also has marked hiking paths. We recommend the green path that takes you through the amazing palm tree, coffee, vanilla bean, and cocoa plantations. Balinese working the fields as eager to chat and so friendly. It takes about two hours at your own pace.

Clove Tree Hill was on our list since a long time, and we were glad we finally visited this place! We stayed at Villa Kelapa, which was spacious and unbelievable clean, the cleanest bathroom and shower we had on Bali. Large balcony with incredible view on the ricefields and the sea. The food was very good and the massage was very relaxing. We enjoyed the trekking with Dian and relaxed at the pool. Also walked to the little waterfall at the back of the property and the small warung there. When we were later in busier areas, we thought our stay at Clove Tree Hill was a dream, the only guests in this beautiful place. Would encourage the staff to interact a bit more with the guests, they will like your chats for sure! Thanks Dian, Bram, cute little Rama and all staff members.

Clove Tree Hill is simply the best experience I had vacationing! It was a much needed peaceful retreat and glad to have known this beautiful place through Eileen. The moment I stepped into my villa, I was captivated by the stunning views of the lush green hills, majestic Mt. Batukaru and rice paddocks and distant blue sea. Clove Tree Hill is a nature- rich, hidden paradise in this side of Bali with luxury, culture, & nature carefully intertwined and well- balanced to give its visitors amazing, unique and unforgettable experiences. The team led by Dian is so welcoming, warm, hospitable, very helpful and always smiling. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food which has great selection, lovingly prepared from locally sourced ingredients. I tried mostly the Balinese and Indonesian cuisine which are very authentic and delicious! I had also the best spa in the world! With the sound of a river running underneath amidst the chirping of the birds, how can I not feel completely relaxed? 😅It is definitely not to be missed in your visit. There is also an infinity pool that’s lovely and cool when you want to enjoy a swim. A dip in the waterfall down the end of the property makes it an unforgettable, unique experience for me. And the walk in the village with Dian even more special. Thank you so much for the beautiful memories. I missed you already and I will definitely come back to make more memories with you. On my trip, I needed a quiet, beautiful, restful place to recharge my batteries after a difficult year. Clove Tree Hill was that place. A beautiful room surrounded by nature, with a magnificent view of Mount Batukaru. The beauty of the landscape and the desire to preserve this environment. I loved this place and it felt good. Dian is a gem and her husband and team are lovely people who will take care of you in an extraordinary setting. Go for it!
