This is the story where I got scammed by the White Palm Hotel business. I was there for one night and got charged for triple the price, the business manager, Petra just explained that she made a mistake and promised that it would be refunded to me ASAP as she would personally sort it out when the bank opens the next day, as I double checked on that if the refund will be processed she said nshe had just told the owner about it and it will be taken care of, then gave me her contact. Then, for the next week, I was travelling throughout Bali she would come up with various reasons for the delay, including the same things as she had told me before, while never picked up my calls. At this point, it was clear she has not attempted to refund me the overcharges for zero apparent reasons. I had given her an ultimatum to need evidence that the business will be processing the refund in the next 24 hours before I lodge a dispute and reveal their unacceptable behaviours and attitudes. I was met with complete silence since then. I stayed at White Palm Hotel on 2nd Jan, it is now 26th Jan, there's NO further contact from the venue, business owner, nor Petra ( manager ). The last time she replied to me was Sidenote, there was a construction site on the 1st floor of the property where the instagram photos are from. The room did not have mosquito net.
