Unfortunately the villa was in need of a lot of maintenance. Leaking toilet holes in shower wall with a lot of mould.Staff were very welcome and polite.

+ Beautiful villa, great layout with your own private pool. + Service was very good and friendly - It could take awhile to get hot water flowing in the room. - Lighting inside the room is inadequate, it's very difficult to look for things inside when the room is dimly lit. - You'll most probably need a buggy to get you to the hotel area. Sadly, at night they didn't have the villa staff on standby at the buggy pick up area. We had one occasion we had to hitchhike with a different hotel's buggy to drop us off near the hotel entrance, and another instance where we had to call the hotel's number and asked to be picked up. We had to wait for about 20 minutes until the buggy came.

Everything was fantastic- but the staff were above and beyond exceptional. The warm greeting every time you returned from a big day out, really made us feel at home. No request was too much of an ask, and the happiness of their guests was at the forefront of their service. Great amenities, staff and value for money. Would highly recommend this luxury escape.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our stay at Candy Villa was incredibly enjoyable, marking it as one of our most memorable experiences. The staff's unwavering friendliness and readiness to assist us stood out. There was nothing to dislike; everything was absolutely perfect.

This hotel is secluded and quiet. It is quite far from the main street but this hotel would be ideal for someone or family that wants some peace and quiet. Since this hotel is open air in the kitchen, make sure to bring some bug spray so you wont get attacked by mosquitos. Overall, this hotel is clean, but far from restaurants and convenient stores.

The villa was clean and neat. The staff was so amazing, always helpful and courteous. I stayed at Pear Villa. The private pool was nice. The mini bar was well stocked. Upon request, the villas were cleaned spotlessly daily. The location was so good, in the middle of the paddy fields, away from all the bustle of the city. The only negative I felt is that the staff forgets to refill/replenish the tea/coffee and other condiments daily. We have to ask them to replenish it.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous! Very firm beds (which can be expected throughout Asia) but apart from that, it was lovely. The bedrooms could do with a bench or a seat - somewhere to put your suitcase instead of just having it plonked on the floor. The bedside tables upstairs were tilted down at a 20-degree angle. Not sure how the lamps didn't fall off....but they need to be fixed. Staff were lovely and very hospitable as you would expect in Bali. One downside is the location. It was almost IMPOSSIBLE to find (almost no signage)....and it was about a 500m walk from the car park to our villa. No taxis come down that dead-end street, so getting into central Ubud could be a chore getting a taxi to come out and find the place. The villas (there are several) do offer a shuttle bus into central Ubud once or twice a day. The pool was amazing and very relaxing - it is usually very quiet in the area. Great for a short stay as getting into town was a bit of a hassle!
