we have stayed here many times, it is a very nice place with good service, good internet, nice location and beautiful rooms. one surprise this time i feel would be interesting to know: on booking directly with the property after years of coming back I was charged more for our rooms than on the usual online booking sites, and also was charged quite a bit for using a card to pay and for the taxi to the next location.

What a gem. Right on the beach with stunning views across the bay. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, beachfront pool. We stayed in the suite at the front of the hotel which is an ocean view. Spectacular sunrise in the morning, Breakfast options were decent. Highly recommend it.

Séjour en famille avec 2 enfants de 6 et 9 ans Hôtel familial avec peu de chambres Vue mer Piscine idéale Petit déjeuner correct avec pancake fait à la demande et jus de fruits frais Les 2 restaurants à côté de l’hôtel sont très bons Snorkeling devant l’hôtel et un peu plus loin dans l’anse Avons aussi fait du bateau avec 3 stops pour faire du snorkeling Beau séjour à Amed Nous recommandons Petit désagrément avec les coqs à coté de l’hôtel mais ça fait parti du voyage !

After staying at another "Lodge" very close to Casa de Amed, it was a lovely surprise to spend our second week in Amed here. Simple but tasty breakfasts, absolute beachfront pool and views to die for from our ginormous deluxe seaview room. All at a decent price. Walking distance to Jemeluk Bay and the main part of Amed. Beautiful.

I would have given 5 stars, but there are a few things out of their control. If you do find yourself in Amed this is a great place. Spacious rooms, great pool with a view. The breakfast was very basic, but fine. The thing I didn't enjoy about Amed was how aggressive the hawkers are and you can't avoid them while you are relaxing by the pool. Yes I understand, people are trying to feed their families but this way of selling things doesn't make you want to come back..I visited other parts of the island with better snorkeling (Menjangan) and beautiful views (Medewi) where I was not hassled. Otherwise, when the hawkers went away it was very peaceful. The room was spacious, clean, great value. We paid for an extra bed for my son, but it was very uncomfortable and without a blanket.
