Menjanagan ecolodge or MELC is Perfect place for Stay because the villa is very quiet & Good For Relax & Honeymoon Couple so Come Stay Soon in menjangan ecolodge the Staff is Very Good & kindly and the View is very beatyfull with Ocean & gardener

For you who like Nature, wildlife, open sky and close to open water, this is the right place to spend your holiday, lots of activity you could experience, birdwatching, “deerhunting”, learning about Bali Endangered species, snorkling, kayaking is just part of it. Octagon Beach Club also a place you need to visit, food is superb, specially in the middle of a National Park. Staff is very helpful they know what to do to make our visit full of happiness.

We went with our daughters, 5 and 9 years old, and stayed in Baluran House. This 2-bedroom house perfectly fits us, with the best view facing the ocean. The free shuttle is available to go back and forth to Octagon, the restaurant with the swimming pool. Besides swimming & canoeing in the floating jetty (reachable by shuttle) with TONS OF FISHES AND BEAUTIFUL CORALS, we also went for a morning walk with Wayan, and spent 1-1.5 relaxing walks for bird watching, animal encounters, learning about plants, and Bali starling sanctuary which is super fun to spend time in nature with kids. Surrounded by all the natural activities just a step away, our kids totally forgot about the gadget -- though they have a TV in the house. They also have a fridge, a water dispenser with hot and cold water, and a hot shower. All amenities are very convenient for a lodge. They forgot to put the hand towels, but the staff is just a call away to deliver those items in no time. SUPER RECOMMENDED to stay in a 'luxurious' lodge in the national park. We will be back!

The staff is super attentive and very nice. Buffet breakfast and good. It is a complex that has, under the same name (almost) a resort, bungalows and "rural" rooms. The latter do not have any service, for everything (pool, beach, restaurant) you have to take the transportation that they provide (they are always ready and it is close by). The rooms are poorly insulated so you can hear your neighbor. They have a refrigerator, air conditioning and bathroom.

My friends stayed at Plataran. They loved the fancy. I stayed at ecolodge. I love the price. We had access to all the same facilities. Super awesome staff at both places. Great restaurant and pool At Octagon. Yum breakfast and tea at 4pm included. Great sheets, air conditioning, peaceful spot, breakfast view. Buggy ride always prompt. I rode mountain bike to octagon a few times. Need to be ok with rough road for that. Did snorkel to Menjangan island with different group because less expensive (a little more research required). Monkeys, deer, peaceful. Amazing. Bathroom at ecolodge basic, but the price is right. Did I mention the staff is amazing!?!?
