The hotel is nicely located on the beach with only about 5 minutes to the "centre" of the city and the beach is not inviting which means that you don't want to be there longer than you have to, a bit of a shame because the hotel deserves more.

Great small hotel, very clean and maintained with heart. The value for money is extraordinary, and the local food superb. Beach directly in front, pickup for dolphin watching directly by boat from the hotel. We can highly recommend the cute place with its great and very caring staff!

Small and well kept, 9 rooms hotel, right on the beach. Lovely rooms and staff. Plenty of activities around, along with food options only minutes walk away. Easy 7min walk to the centre of town. Especially loved the VIP room with indoor/outdoor bathrooms and sea view. And the fresh cooked hotel breakfast, yum.

Spacious room overlooking the pool, well decorated and clean. Very practical restaurant, good cuisine. Hearty breakfast, special mention for the banana pancakes. Staff available and friendly. Other restaurants nearby. Possibility of massages on site in the garden facing the sea at a very attractive price. Many activities offered, ask for the booklet. Very efficient laundry service (price per kg!) Really an excellent stay facing the sea, quiet and very well maintained hotel.

The Frangipani became one of our favorite hotels, which we will definitely visit again. The location, the facility...everything to our utmost satisfaction! The room was large, clean and quiet. The beds are spring mattresses - a bit uncomfortable, but that's complaining at a high level. Fall asleep with the sound of the sea in the background guaranteed. The breakfast was always freshly prepared and very tasty. It has 2 options to choose from. Coffee and tea are available all day and can be made yourself, and there is also the option to refill the water bottles. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful. So you can enjoy freshly cooked Nasi / Mie Goreng or other delicious food all day long. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is a great way to cool off.

We enjoyed our stay in Franjipani because it was perfectly situated right on the beach.
However, the interior of the rooms need upgrading! Old facilities and bathrooms in particular, are hard to clean and harder to make look really clean! Staff were pleasant and helpful. The garden setting was beautiful and breakfast was included!
