Puri Padma Hotel Reviews

Staff was super friendly and welcoming and helped us book everything (tours, shuttles, etc). They even provided us breakfast before the usual time as we had to leave early in the morning! Location was pretty central, although a bit far from some main attractions. Rooms we’re also pretty good and clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Good overall, would recommend. (Forgot to take pictures! The one shown below is the terrace lounge)

Value for money hotel. All required amenities are present, restaurant pool they provide bike rentals and tours. Although the quality of things are somewhat lacking (small rooms) but okay considering 3 star standards. However, what they lack in quality is made up by the exemplary service of the staff. Best service i have got till date from hotels in Bali, from reception staff to hotel provided driver for tour to restaurant chef, everyone was very helpful in guiding us what to do around, when to visit and best roads to follow. Will visit again whenever i come back to Ubud.

Average hotel. Quite clean. But the corridor to the lift is a little bit narrow. Overall not bad

Location is good, on the same road as Tegalalang Rice Terrace. We book the cheapest room type, not big but enough for 2, very close to a rice field so you can enjoy the view at the restaurant! Tried the food, it’s quite good too.

I absolutely loved staying at Puri Padma hotel. Wonderful and professional staff that catered to my vegetarian needs, I was impressed with the delicious food served at the restaurant overlooking gorgeous views of the lush greenery. Convenient location from some lovely restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return in the future!

I enjoyed my stay at Puri Padma Hotel (room 207). The bed was super comfortable, great shower and AC too. There’s a great view of sunrise from roof. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

Overall, my stay, here was pretty good. The location was great because it was close to the monkey forest and all the stuff are also very friendly and well coming in. The room was a bit stuffy because the windows couldn’t open and it was a bit dark as well I think that’s the only bad part about it.

I booked a temporary hotel, but I didn’t choose a hotel. I went to Gili Island and came back to Ubud. Everyone thought I was a local. Their service staff was really indifferent to the locals, and they were super enthusiastic towards Europeans and Americans. The contrast is big, Ubud The people in other places are very warm and nice. Their hotel is the coldest person I feel. It is the only place in Bali that makes me feel left out. It has broken the hotel rating. Sorry, I don’t want to give five stars anyway.

I left after only four hours of sleep. It was very comfortable.

10 stars. I came to this hotel after staying in a more noisy area of Ubud and am so happy I did. All of the staff is AMAZING!!! One woman named Caday (I’m sure that’s the wrong spelling) was sooo nice and sweet and amazing. They cleaned my room daily and it was super clean. The food is good especially breakfast. The views are amazing. It’s a quiet area. Blackout curtains good for sleeping. There’s an electric kettle in your room for hot water which is good for tea and ramen. Bed was comfortable. This hotel is rated as a 3 star but I think it should be 5 stars!!!

- There are some huge rice-fields/farm areas right on the back-side of the hotel and the view during sunrise and sunset was just amazing ! - We didn't opt for breakfast as part of the room, but we did order fruit-platter it was freshly cut and well-presented, but we felt quantity was quite less, maybe we should've checked the quantity before. But we absolutely liked the fruits in it ! - We didn't use the pool during our stay, but it seemed fun since the kids from other rooms were enjoying it very much almost everyday. No lifeguard though, so please just stay around if you are going with your family with kids. - They have two sun-bathing areas too - one on the rooftop. - Good parking area on the premises for both car and bikes. - The property was good as per the amount we paid for the room. The room was as per the description in the website. If you are travelling with big bags, then you might feel it is small and might keep running into your bags - this was our exact situation. Can't blame the hotel for this since we knew this is going to happen while doing the booking. - Bathrooms were clean with dedicated shower areas and required toiletries. In case something is missing you can call reception and get it quickly. - There were many lizards roaming in the corridor walls, you might get scared looking at them - they are harmless. We got a small one in our room too and the staff was prompt enough to move it out of the room quickly ! We stayed there for 3 days and only once this happened. - The property is bit far from the city centre - its a very long walk, trust me we walked twice and we were a bit tired at the end of it. Use Gojek to get a car or bike to go to the centre and enjoy the vibe there. If you have rental bike, then it should not be a problem for you. - Many Mini mart and pharmacy shopping All-in-all a good hotel if you don't mind staying far away from all the action in Ubud centre !
