Origin Uluwatu

Wonderful, genuine service from Wawan and team. The grounds were lovely, as were the rooms. The roosters did wake me up on the first night. Breakfast served with skill and heart, even if the menu was somewhat limited. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to stay, calme and relax

All of the boy in Origin really treated me so well! Wanwan and the team really exceeded my expectations and made want to move to Bali. What a great experience in hospitality I had at Origin Uluwatu

Bali has no shortage of great places to stay but Origin really deserves its high ratings. From the initial booking to arrival and throughout my stay of several weeks I was completely satisfied and happy in staying here. The location, villas, grounds, and cleanliness were important for me and the hotel is excellent in all these areas. The staff, including Wawan, are very helpful and professional. Will definitely be returning to Origin.

The crew at Origin is like family! Lovely service. High quality treatment! The rooms are perfect. nice outdoor bathroom- shower, bathtub. The food was incredible coffee coconut waters everything really great. most of all the staff. location was nice too. out of the main chaos but close enough ride or walk to everything you need. can’t wait to come back 🧡

My cousin found this spot due to the high Trip Advisor reviews. Regrettably, it turned out to be a poor stay and we had to relocate. Stayed at the Origin for one night. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. This is a camping/glamping experience with a large lawn and nice pool and a number of tents that you sleep in. Your tent is blocked by a large fence and it is private in your area. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom area is outside of the tent in the open air. The issue with the tent is that is does not block any noise. There was animal noises, car noise, and party noise all night and construction noise all day. I’ve been traveling Bali for a month and this was my worst night sleep the whole time. I slept maybe 1 or 2 hours. There were all sorts of noises in the tent too. I was wearing ear plugs as well. I was so tired a needed a second coffee in the morning and they were initially trying to charge me extra for it but then removed. The hot water machine in the room didn’t work so I couldn’t make myself coffee. Due to this, I found alternative accommodation for the rest of my stay in Uluwatu and my cousin still paid but did not stay. Would not stay again due to these issues.
