Batur Green Lake

Beautiful place on the lake. Very beautiful view. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and diligent. The food here is also very good and cheap so if you want dinner, you can go directly to the hotel.

A place where A lake shaped by the Volcano in Kintamani, Bali Province in Indonesia. With a chilly weather climate and very beautiful view from both nature gift, mountain and lake. Combination of religion and culture of local traditions where majority of Hindus with others interact harmoniously.

Beautifully located right on the lake with views of Mt Batur and surrounding mountains. Bungalows are simple but clean. Hosts Putu & Kadec we’re wonderful. They made me feel very welcome and were very helpful and generous. I highly recommend staying with them.

I first stayed in this location in 2019, and have returned a number of times as it's a wonderful retreat from steamy, noisy Ubud. I find it to be a haven of tranquillity in an amazing setting. The cottages are located directly on Lake Batur and have wonderful view of sunrise over Mount Batur. There are also nice well-tended gardens. I personally do a lot of sitting and staring out over the lake at the ever-changing vista, but there are lots of activities available if you're feeling more active. The. helpful and friendly owner Putu and cottage manager Kadek are on hand to arrange sunrise trekking on Mount Batur, trips to local temples or hot springs, or e-scootering on the local roads. A trip to the nearly Bali Aga village of Trungen is also a fascinating option.
