There were a few nice staff members, but there was this senior staff member who was rude. Made you wait for taxis for over 30 minutes, tried to overcharge for taxis, and always telling you that whatever was happening was your fault. Restaurant was not very good and not many alternatives within walking distance. Watch out

If you’re after something quite unique off the beaten track, Mahaloka Valley is great! Set amongst the jungle, it’s a tiny resort but has well appointed rooms, a great (clean!) pool and super friendly staff. Crystal Bay is a 5 minute walk away which takes you through the local village where the locals are happy to stop and chat. Check out their beach volleyball facility, random as! Being out of the way don’t expect all the amenities of a big resort and the road there is sketchy to say the least! If you need a great driver though go and ask for Putu in the local village, he’s awesome! We found the restaurant in the resort to be a bit average but we only had 1 lunch and breakfast. We ate at Crystal Bay both nights (really good with their local food) and didn’t get sick! 👍 Overall, amazing experience for a couple of nights.

Baliden hızlı feribotla gidiş dönüşlerimizde ve adada bir günlük tur ayarlamamızda çok yardımcı oldular. Huzur ve dinlenme arıyorsanız ormanın ortasındaki bu harika tesisi kesinlikle tavsiye ederim… çalışanlar ve sahibi gerçekten çok arkadaş canlısı.

The service was really great, very friendly and welcoming and attentive and the attended all our wishes and respect such as organizing transportation, massages, excursions etc. The property is beautiful and in the middle of the rainforest very peaceful and quiet. As it’s in the middle of nature it takes a while to get there logistically, but it’s beautiful. The food delicious Recommended.

It’s more beautiful than the photos, had the most wonderful stay at Mahaloka Valley and definitely be back. Room are larger than expected and the beds incredible comfy. Air con work brilliantly. Lots of storage. WiFi was super strong. Hot shower. Poll was wonderful to lounge around. Breakfast nice too. Crystal Bay beach was 10 minutes walk away which has delightfully sunset, little lovely warung and colorful coral Thank you Nyoman and your team for a fabulous and memorable stay. We will be back.🙏

Looks better than the photos, the grounds are stunning, and tbe staff go above and beyond. The rooms are so clean and lovely, the pool area is fantastic, the located in the midle of jungle, beautiful garden and flowers, just 10 minutes walk to crystal bay beach. The restourant was delicious and the entire place is beautiful tropical oasis.
