Beautiful, relaxing and small villas. If you want to relax this is the place for you. It is a wonderful hidden gem. Note it is a little far from beaches so you’ll need to get a taxi or drive a scooter. They also only serve breakfast which was delicious!

We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at White Tortoise. It is in a lovely setting with great views. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was superb. The villa was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommended.

We had an fantastic stay at White Tortoise. The villa was unique, clean, comfy and beautiful and had probably the best view in all of Uluwatu. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect! Thanks a lot for this amazing stay and giving us a great time in Uluwatu.

We started our trip at the White Tortoise and it was a very good way to kick off our holidays. The place is very charming and quiet, the food is super tasty and the staff super friendly. At this period of the year, there was no restaurant for the evening, however with Grab (application like Uber), it was very easy to get meals.

My fiancé and I enjoyed the most magical and memorable time at the White Tortoise. Every single need was considered and catered to by the exceptionally friendly staff who always greeted us with the biggest smile. Nothing was ever too difficult for them - the hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. Special thanks to the villas dog, Maya, who was around for pats while we were missing our own dog at home! If you want to get out and about, there are several beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops a short walk or cheap taxi away. If you are looking for a quiet and lazy holiday, then you can’t go past this place. Incredible breakfast onsite (available until midday, not compromising your sleep in!), private pools with amazing views of Uluwatu, comfortable villas made for lounging around, and staff who will go above and beyond. We stayed three nights but easily could have stayed three weeks! We can’t wait to come back - hopefully soon for our honeymoon!

The property is amazing. Great staff, great villas, great food, very quiet and amazing sea view. Definitely recommend it with a few observations:
- if you don’t have a scooter, access ain’t easy. Walking around is not an option and taxis take long / don’t accept the ride
- it’s a forest property. There will be small animals like frogs and insects around. If you are too bothered, think twice
- the shower was mostly cold and the water pressure weak. But the property manager said they would fix it

Superb place. The staff takes great care. The restaurant's cuisine is fantastic, all in a natural setting, on a human scale. The room is comfortable, spacious with its double terrace and private swimming pool. How pleasant it is when returning from an excursion!!

We stayed four nights (from August 5th to 9th, 2022) in the White Tortoise Eco Villas. The stay in Uluwatu was our last stop on the 3-week trip through Bali. I would book the accommodation again at any time. From the booking request to check-in to the stay itself, everything was perfect. The stay was a belated birthday present and the team specially decorated the room and went to great lengths. We booked the Joglo Villa because we found it a bit "cozier" in the photos. However, the entire complex is beautiful and all the rooms are fantastic. Everything is extremely well maintained and the plants give you a lot of privacy. The staff are all extremely friendly and hard-working and they make sure that everything is 100% right and that every guest can enjoy their stay. Whether Finta, Gino or Patricia herself, everyone makes sure that nothing is missing. Unfortunately, I had an upset stomach from our previous stay in Nusa and that's why I couldn't drink and eat everything and spent a lot of time in the room. The staff was extremely caring and looked after me and even coordinated the housekeeping with me. The complex itself is secluded with a view of the sea and you can get to the most beautiful spots in Uluwatu in a maximum of ten minutes. A great starting point for the sights in the region. The staff arrange a really good transfer at great prices and you can rent a scooter at the accommodation for a fair price and you can also get lunch or dinner in addition to breakfast. Great restaurants (like the best Italian in Uluwatu) are only 5 minutes away from the accommodation. Conclusion: Top accommodation for the first or last days of a tour of Bali. We can only recommend it and would book it again.
