We chose it because we saw photos of rice terraces, but photos don't show the true beauty of Sidemen rice fields, it was only when I was sitting on the balcony of BukitLuah looking at this fascinating view that the beauty of the terraces really hit me. The owner’s family is very friendly, with smiles, good service, good food and clean rooms. The terraces are surrounded by green trees. Sitting on the balcony is cool and breezy, comfortable and relaxed. We will visit Sidemen again but we won't be looking anywhere else, next time we'll still stay in #BukitLuah.

I loved my stay at Bukit Luah! Of all the places I stayed in Bali this was by far the best. The family is very attentive and helpful. The room, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the view, everything was perfect! I would definitely come back! I highly recommend!

Beter dan dit wordt het niet. Het uitzicht op de rijstvelden is werkelijk adembenemend. Vanaf het ruime balkon kun je hier de gehele dag van genieten. Bukit Luah Sidemen is een grandioos hotel. De gastvrijheid van Gede en zijn familie is enorm. De kamers zijn zeer comfortabel en ruim. De Wifi is snel en stabiel. Het ontbijt is overheerlijk! De kamers zijn brandschoon. Buiten de deur eten is niet nodig, Bukit Luah serveert geweldige maaltijden voor een schappelijke prijs. Ik ben hier al vaak geweest en heb ook voor de komende maand alvast geboekt. Reserveer op tijd want ze zijn logischerwijs bijna altijd volgeboekt!

Magnifique endroit, idéalement placé, les trois chambres sont identiques et donnent sur un paysage exceptionnel. L’accueil est top, le petit déjeuner est parfait. Que vouloir de plus…C’est la deuxième fois que je séjourne ici, et ce n’est pas la dernière.

I picked Bukit Luah because I saw photos of rice fields, but photos can't show the true beauty of this place. I could just sit on the terrace and look at the amazing view. The host is very friendly and nice. Tasty food and a clean room. If I ever go to Bali and Sidemen again, I won't look for another place to stay—I will book directly Bukit Luah

Muy amablemente nos reservó por whatsapp una habitación el dueño de este increíble lugar. Íbamos mi marido, mi hija y yo, así que booking no nos permitía reservar una habitación doble. Sin ningún inconveniente puso una colchón supletorio en la estupenda habitación y nos alojamos en esta pequeña guesthouse (creo que solo tiene 3 habitaciones), con terraza individual desde donde se contempla unas vistas maravillosas de arrozales y montañas verdes. A la espalda está la montaña más alta de Bali, pero no la vimos porque las nubes lo cubrían durante todo el día. Allí puedes desayunar, comer, cenar.... aparte de contemplar la belleza del paisaje, gente trabajando en los campos, niños volando cometas y algún otro paseo para observar la vida local, poco más se puede hacer en Sidemen. Así de maravilloso es este lugar. Veníamos de la bulliciosa Ubud, y de cuatro días de tour completos, así que este lugar fue un remanso de paz. Habitaciones y baño amplios y limpios, camas muy cómodas, personal amabilísimo pero que no habla un inglés muy fluido. Un lugar muy especial que nos encantó visitar.

This place is the most amazing place I have ever been, the room had the most beautiful views to the rice terraces, and the owners Kalia, Joda and Komang were amazingly kind people, they also prepared dinner in my private terrace from the room it was fantastic, I wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked

We will not forget our beautiful stay here, where Made and her family made us feel so loved and at home. She is honestly just the best, most welcoming, and gentle person who went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy (like picking aloe Vera for my sunburn from her garden!). The views are so peaceful and breathtaking and life moves at a slower pace than many other places in Bali so it is a perfect space to wind down in and explore - and the food is well-priced and delicious! We have plans to come back with our families and friends and cannot wait for that time! Thank you, thank you, thank you - could not recommend more!
