The stay at Lay Day was great! The hostel was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice! Lay Day has a great a**osphere and made me feel at home straight away. It is the perfect place to meet new people. Overall I had a very nice experience!!!!

The place was great! Very clean and the staff was super nice! They did an awesome job and made me feel right at home. The private rooms were great cuz they were close to the main stay area where people were hanging out. It was a great place to meet people as well! Super fun!

The outdoor area is beautiful with 2 pools and a nice bar, the staff is very nice and helpful, the place gets very social at night, good for people who want to party a lot, location is okay - you will need to take a scooter to the beach

Best hostel experience ever. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and so much fun. Jim was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better host! The pub crawl hosted by Lay Day staff was one of the best nights along with the pool party. If you’re keen for a good time definitely recommend Lay Day.

Our stay here was so lovely! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which created an awesome environment. We felt very safe and staff were helpful when we needed it! Bonus shout out to Jim who was the absolute life of the party and made our hostel stay even better!

Great craic! Fun Pub crawl we were taken by bus from bar to bar and given a T-shirt , sociable hostel. Rooms were clean and air con was good. There’s 3 pools! Wish we had a pool table though. The staff are so welcoming and fun especially Erick. I will be back ❤️

Really depends on what you are looking for… I was glad I stayed in a hostel so that I could make friends and be social. There are always people hanging out in the pool area / bar area, especially at night, so it's easy to find people to do things with throughout Canggu. However, this is a REALLY big party hostel, so make sure that’s what you’re interested in. The rooms aren’t fantastic but if you just want to drink and lounge in the pool then you probably won’t mind. I booked a private villa and the room was fine, but there were a lot of stains on the bed/walls/etc. Furthermore, the security wasn't great. The area with the villas was completely open/unlocked, and the lock on my door wasn't secure. So, it really depends on what you are looking for. If you want to make friends and party, I think this is still a great place to do that. However, if you're looking for something more relaxing/comfortable, maybe continue to research.

Best hostel for solo travelers in Canggu. I only wanted to stay for 2 nights to meet people, but I got on so well with the team and the owners that I kept coming back for a few days. There's a lot of partying here, which is off-putting for many, but if you book the 4-person dorms or private rooms, it's like having your own little villa with a private pool and not too many people. You can cook together or just enjoy a relaxed evening. The 6-bed rooms aren't as luxurious, but that's not what you'd expect for the price. I'd like to give a special mention to Erik from the team, he's the best and makes for a lot of fun.

Really loved my stay here. The hostel has really chill vibes, you could spend the entire day just hanging out by the pool. It's real easy to make friends, and the staff makes sure that everyone is having a great time. Free barbecue on Fridays which was awesome. Don't worry about the humidity, the dorm rooms have AC. Highly recommended in the Canggu area in Bali.
