I have visited this delightful resort three or four times over the years - although not recently. The cabins by the pools are very comfortable, the pools themselves great, and the grounds and gardens very pretty. It is a clothing optional place so a perfect all-over tan is guaranteed. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, its location is rather remote - but in a way that is also an advantage. Miles of beach are waiting for an early morning walk.

This please is as advertised. It’s for people that want to be close to nature as possible. While the drive is long from Denpasar the scenery is wonderful. Do rush to get there enjoy the journey. Don’t expect 5star resort. Because it’s not. But the deli’s room is wonderful. The pools sparkling clean and gardens as lush. Not manicured. But surprisingly perfect. The food is wonderful. It is reasonably priced and enough choice for us to try something different for 5 days. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to accommodate any concerns. If you’re the type that doesn’t like nature don’t go.

This was a friendly and inviting venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially considering their English was often very limited. Rooms were serviced each day and the two pools were beautifully maintained. It was a difficult decision to decide where to swim. The restaurant menu was extensive; but sadly many items were unavailable. Better to have offer less and make the food more inspiring.

We stayed there unfortunately only a few days. Because the resort is in the middle o nowhere I was afraid we will get bored or starve to death:))) But no way. Pools, food, drinks, everything was available. The resort is bigger than I thought, and you can walk naked everywhere :) Plenty of green, next to the beach where you can take lovely walks also (but not naked) We stayed at one of the villa's and the room was really big and also clean and comfortable. And most of all, employees where doing all possible to make our stay perfect. We made new friends and I was very impressed from Heru - I think he is the guy in charge. Friendly, professional and with a big heart. He saved 5 kittens while we where there and took care of them like I've never seen before... (Made them a home and feeding them with a syringe every 2 hours for example) It was a lovely experience from all points of view and we would be happy to go back.

The calm and the zenitude, in a lush garden with its vegetation, always well maintained, a very caring staff while being very discreet and smiling (thank you Emen, Heru, Tyson, Made, Bono, and all the others!), a pleasant restaurant area, close to the beach, rocking you in the evening with the sound of the waves. The accommodation part is not to be outdone, the villas all offer a large bed, large Balinese bathrooms, a terrace to relax, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, in order to adjust your well-being to your needs. inside your room, and all that, without having any clothing constraints, since the resort is entirely naturist, from the rooms to the restaurant, through the reception or the massage room or the gym, no need for clothes, if it is not a sarong to put on the chairs to sit down, in order to preserve hygiene. In short, an excellent place to unwind and relax "naturally"!

Our experience and reviews: 27-28 Feb. check in, check-out 1 March 2023 Arrival: We arrived after a chaotic and dangerous drive through occasional thick fog, rain and mostly heavy traffic on smallish roads through mountainous winding routes partly with big potholes after some 2.5hours from Ubud. Thanks to our experienced driver all went well. Experience reception: Entry to the ‚Resort‘ was anything than awe-inspiring, i.e. photos of reception. Then coming into the place after a lovely bamboo parkway. The manager Eamon asked us for our passports, looking out of the window of a messy reception room. No special greetings, information of local restaurants, entertainment, sports or the like, just a non-English speaking helper guided us to our ‚deluxe room‘. Indeed, beautifully designed, however, very poorly maintained, see open bathroom, wardrobes etc. We were told that the restaurant will be open between 8am to 10am, 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 10pm. No alternatives were given. Interesting to note: no female staff at the resort were seen. Ground appearance: All grassy areas are not properly cared for, edging of steps, sides etc. not done. All in all, very sloppy and poorly looked after. Refer pictures. Absolutely no interest in the detail. Beach access: … through a rusty door, experience a very small stony beach, unclean and uninviting. Food: Smallish offering on a plastic covered menu-folder, fitting the restaurant design. Small portions, very ordinary and poorly plated food from a poor selection. Considering the remoteness of the place, one would expect some better menu, a bit of quality and presentation, no such thing. E.g.: For another small bacon rash at breakfast we would need to pay 50,000 or some $A 5.00 p/person, see the photo of the poor buffet breakfast, e.g. cheese selection... Pricing high, e.g., small Bintang bottle 45k (local Bintang beer, recommendable). To bring your own wine: 150k corkage (amazing), beer to bring not allowed. Spirits to bring ok. Why: Bali au Naturel do not offer any. BYO your own gin-Tonic? Restaurant on site: some pictures of „Mocks Kitchen“ again speak more than words. Lacking any a**osphere, simple decor, dirty and mouldy walls, rusty bar ceiling. Unprofessional waiters (very friendly but untrained, poor English) serve e.g., water and glasses without the Bali-typical cloth coasters, no salt or pepper on all tables, no placement sets at breakfast or lunch. Table napkins at dinner out of a brown paper towel dispenser. Room Deluxe: Large room with wardrobe and bathroom outside (no problem re rain). Unclean water tap, no hand soap dispenser. We went back to reception and commented that there is no hand-soap dispenser. Eamon the manager told us that there is a dispenser at the wall outside on the wall of the shower compar**ent for use. On my comment that this is really unreasonable (consider the rain), he said, that‘s it. Some time later one of the attendants came and brought us a half full and used soap disp

A perfect place for one to unwind and seep into a pure indulgence of nature and nudity. Resort is so peaceful you won't hear engine noises of cars and motorbikes, only the sound of nature. Manager and staff there were professional, friendly and simply made you feel so comfortable like home. And even other resort guests were so friendly, always hearing greetings wherever you go. The room was spacious, clean and the bed is soooo nice that you don't feel like getting up in the morning. Not to mention, the food that the Mocks kitchen served was simply sooooo good. There is nothing my wife and I didn't enjoy. Recommended be it you are a first time nudist or an experienced one, hope I can be here for a longer period as I only spent 1 night here. Simple wish is that Bali au Naturel will attract more guest and be able to sustain through the ever changing and tough landscape of hospitality. Regards Ben and Shealy

We stayed in Naturel during Feb. Being off season, it was less crowded. Normally, we saw couples visiting the resort, which was good. Rooms are kept clean, are spacious with balconies as an added advantage. Pools are good for swimming. Limited menu of breakfast also good. Tea/Coffee/Water is available 24/7 which was good.  Danial & Sue

Au naturel, wonderful in the middle of nature, only the birds and the waves and sometimes annoying bullfrogs in the evening. We had a beautiful pool villa with terrace and outdoor bathroom. Water, coffee and tea included. Then a large garden, kind of a park actually, where the restaurant is located. At the end you go through a gate to the sea. (not naturist) The sea is not really clean (locals say it is because of the rainy season) A beautiful location, only the restaurant is terribly outdated, does not look good. However, the food was fine. Also had a wonderful, good professional massage. You have to love peace, because the neighborhood is really nothing within walking distance.
