Arjuna Homestay

Please note: this is not strictly speaking a hotel. It's a homestay for backpackers. Pleasant swimming pool but which is mainly used for diving lessons...so swimming is compromised if there are lessons. Room in need of refreshing. No courtesy tray. Deluxe room does not match the photos. For us, ground floor, no balcony...no seat to sit. Breakfast passable but meals in the restaurant are good. Beach located about 600 meters away with a poorly lit path full of holes. Headlamp required in the evening.

I can't give an opinion on the diving, as we were only there for 2 nights at the hotel. The hotel is great, the rooms with a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool and gardens are comfortable. The downside is the noise, we cannot say that this hotel is quiet. The neighbors play loud music from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fortunately we were leaving during the day, but our return at the end of the afternoon was very noisy for 3 days. To relax at the swimming pool, it's difficult. The breakfasts were on the terrace at the top of the hotel and were delicious.

Magnifique hôtel. Situé à 2 pas de la plage. Un personne très agréable et au petit-déjeuner soins de ses clients. Plusieurs activités sont proposées tel que plongée, snorkling, location de scooter, etc... Je garde un souvenir magnifique de cet hôtel et des moments passés à Pemuteran. Je recommande vivement

Sejour parfait dans cet hôtel qui intègre un club de plongée francophone. Hôtel très propre, bien aménagé et convivial. Le propriétaire Nicolas est super sympa, à l'ecoute, et nous fait partager ses experiences. De plus, comparé à la frénésie touristique qui s'est emparé de Bali ces dernières années, Pemuteran reste un havre de paix pour profiter des plages et faire du snorkeling ou de la plongée. Cette halte à pemuteran et à Arjuna restera un moment fort de notre périple à Java et Bali en famille avec nos 2 enfants. Cerise sur le gâteau, la mise à l'eau de bébés tortues à 2 pas de l'hôtel , au reef seen turtle project.

For those who go directly to Pemuteran from landing in Denpasar, allow a good 5 hour drive, following the 19 hour flight from France. If the prospect doesn't delight you, make this your second base... Arjuna Homestay is slightly set back from the coast, about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest beach with the main road to cross. But above all it is a very diving-oriented hotel, with an integrated dive center and the swimming pool used during the day for diving courses. There is still a little room for swimming nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean. Functional air conditioning, good bedding, the shower pressure is very good (which is not the case everywhere), breakfast room on the terrace with a nice panorama, infrastructure in good condition. On the service side, Nicolas, French owner of the establishment, is always present and solves all requests: scooter rental, advice on walks or good little warung nearby. A very small downside about the night watchman whom I asked to get rid of a local-sized spider which had sneaked into the room: he came, missed it with his broom (which is not not a problem in itself given the speed of movement of the beast) but did not push the effort much further. I went to find him and he was waiting on the sofas in the hotel lobby with a Baygon bomb in front of him but flushing out the spider and engaging in combat was obviously not his mission and I had to do it myself. Satisfactory catering: great breakfast with unlimited mi goreng and nasi goreng, pancakes or eggs (not unlimited, don't push it), Bali coffee or tea. At lunchtimes and evenings, on-site catering with the restaurant "La Terrasse" which serves local dishes a little more expensive than in the warungs but not excessively or more international dishes, just for a change. Well priced for Pemuteran (€37 per night, breakfast included), Arjuna is a good solution, with no unpleasant surprises. The hotel was chosen for our group of 6 divers and completely met our expectations.

Très bel hôtel avec de belles prestations. Les chambres sont spacieuses. A disposition des serviettes de bain pour la piscine est vraiment un plus. Le restaurant est vraiment très bon et le club de diving sur place parfait. Possibilité de louer des scooters sur place.
