I can only say that if you don’t have a heart that loves nature, don’t choose this place. I stayed there for two days at a loss. Although the breakfast was delicious, this place is not suitable for us at all. The toilet is outdoors and you have to urinate and defecate with the bugs. The location is far away from the urban area of Ubud, and there are no facilities suitable for us in the museum. There is only nature, nature, nature...

Como, the third hotel in Bali this time, is my favorite. A little more expensive than Six Senses, but the details are much more exquisite and the hygiene is very good. Let’s talk about what you like about Como: 1. The room design, the bed frame is made of thick bamboo, the partition between the bedside and the bathroom is made of rocks, the wardrobe is made of beige curtains, and even the drawstrings are made of orange beads, and all the windows and doors are diffused. The woven structure wooden door that lets in the light has a special sense of life in nature. Sunlight penetrates into the room. The ice bucket is also made of wood and is equipped with a wooden spoon. The pillars of the floor lamp are also made of woven wood structure. All lampshades are a slightly translucent beige. The material is similar to air-dried leather, the foot pads at the door next to the bed are particularly beautiful, and the keys also come with colorful beads on a chain~ 2. The floor is very clean, you can go barefoot, and the hygiene is very good. Six Senses hygiene is very poor, but the floor is not clean, so you cannot go barefoot. 3. Como’s breakfast is delicious and served a la carte with rich varieties. (The food at Six Senses was very, very little, very poor, the worst among the luxury hotels I have ever stayed in, unbelievable) 4. The staff was very patient and friendly. They took us to the natural swimming pool and walked back and forth for about 50 minutes. There was no deposit required when we checked in. When we checked out, we were given the keys and it was over. There was no need to check the room. We were given a welcome bouquet when we arrived. Wear it around your neck, call me by name when leaving, and give me a keychain. (Six Senses, I had to wait at least 20 minutes to check out and check the room. It was a very formal attitude and not warm at all) 5. The hotel’s natural swimming pool is very healing. The scenery on the way down the mountain is beautiful and secluded. It’s perfect for hiking. The outdoor spa is also in the valley. I want to go again, have a spa in the valley and lie by the sky-blue swimming pool.

The environment is very beautiful, with a sense of integration between man and nature, lush trees, swimming pools in the woods, cicadas chirping, frogs croaking, streams gurgling, and blue skies. But the facilities are a bit too old, the bathtub and toilet feel old. We were woken up by a group of monkeys on the roof the next morning. The little monkeys were very cute and non-harmful.

Setting: A haven from the world Service: Meticulous and thoughtful, it's almost the level of a meal Hygiene: perfect, also responsible for driving away geckos that strayed into the room

I’ve stayed at many 5 Star resorts Como Shambala estates Ubud is by far the best of them all . Aside from the beautiful aesthetic and space the key difference here are the AMAZING staff who really connect you with the authentic Balinese experience. Our personal Assistant Ayu Yainti was flawless in both her service and her ability to take care of 4 individuals at the same time without ever missing a beat ( not easy ) Ayu and the first class staff at the resort make it the best five star experience I’ve had not only in Bali but anywhere in the world 🌍

I have spent the last 5 months in Bali - traveling all over staying at amazing houses and villas of friends and also hotels and resorts - Como Shambala is on another level- - 7 star service , I have only experienced this level of service on a mega yacht- . The owners have insured everything is to the highest standards- it’s the most magical property , such beauty , such detail, exquisite! They have thought of everything and I do mean everything ! The true secret however is the service , I can’t imagine any of the people who will care for you are anything but excellent- however if you can ask for Ayu, she has taken care of myself and my friends for last 11 days and it’s been truly amazing , she is incredible , I’m going to miss Shambala but I’m going to miss Ayu more , her level of care , humor , kindness and attention to detail are unprecedented- thank you Shambala for a magical experience , thank you Ayu 🙏

Where do I begin ... the resort itself is in the most magical setting - in the jungle overlooking the river - it truly takes your breath away when you arrive Each villa ( I had a terrace suite ) has its own "assistant" , mine was the lovely Ayu who made my stay even more special ... she helped (always with a big smile) with arranging my day and even small things (which are big things !) organising meeting the lady in the next villa , also travelling solo, and I am pleased to say I have now made a life long friend and one that we will meet again in the near future at Como once again ! the trea**ents are all beyond incredible ! the food .. I have no words ! it was all delicious and every time you would be at the restaurant they would remember and welcome you by name .. a small touch , but again , something meaningful the resort itself with its many pools and walks is so serene and so beautiful I only stayed 3 nights and wish I would have stayed longer but ! I will be back ! thank you to everyone at the resort for being so amazing !

We spent our honeymoon in this very special hotel! Here we enjoyed the best "private service" of our lives. In the middle of the jungle you can enjoy a wonderfully relaxing break at the spring pool or your own private pool. You won't miss anything. We can recommend this hotel without reservation!
