I arrived at night and at first it was quite difficult to find as it's down an alleyway off the main road. As a single traveller this was a bit daunting, however I was soon greeted by an incredibly welcoming host who checked me in and took my order for breakfast the following morning. The room was a very good size with its own balcony and a large bathroom with shower. There was plenty of water provided and the air conditioning was very effective. The room was tired with the wall hosting some brackets of what I assumed held a tv at one point (no TV in sight). The towels were very worn but clean and this was the same with the bed sheets. I want to stress I enjoyed my stay and the best was comfy and the room was used for its purpose ( as a base to explore ubud) You must like monkeys to stay here as they truly do inhabit the hotel. You are warned on arrival.

Wat een heerlijk rustig plekje en toch aan de drukke monkey Forest road. In het resort merk je hier echt niks van. Kamers waren zeer ruim. Airco werkte prima en alles was oke schoon. Het blonk vooral uit door het geweldige personeel en in het bijzonder Boy. Wij werden niet alleen met alles geholpen binnen het resort maar Boy was ook twee dagen onze chauffeur, gids, vertaler, regelaar, culinair kenner en vooral aardige metgezel. Dank nog hiervoor Boy. eer dicht bij Monkey Forest dus elke dag bezoek van apen op ons balkon of bij het zwembad. Maar is ons geval waren ze totaal niet agressief. Wij kijken terug op een heerlijk verblijf van 4 nachten in dit resort in het geweldige Ubud.

Het hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum van Ubud, maar als je boekt weet je dat. Bovendien te allen tijde binnen 5 min een taxi beschikbaar. Er is geen restaurant in het hotel, wel een supermarkt naastgelegen en een warung schuin tegenover het hotel. Kamers waren schoon, ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien (airco, koelkast, goede bedden, balkon, tv, elke dag waterflesjes, etc). Het personeel is ontzettend lief en behulpzaam; echt uitmuntend! Hebben ons geholpen bij boeken van restaurants, rafting, clubs, taxi’s etc. Veel kun je met apps maar als locals bellen krijg je betere prijzen. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding!

Excellent. Everything very clean, the hotel staff was very friendly. We stayed 5 nights with breakfast included. All very good. It is in monkey forest but since the entrance was through a smaller street, there was no noise and you could rest well. The pool and garden are a plus. The last day we left very early and they had the detail of making us breakfast after hours. From time to time monkeys passed by, for us it was not a problem, the hotel staff controls them. It is normal for them to appear in all the hotels in the area, the monkey forest park is about 5-10 min walk away. The location is perfect. At the beginning of monkey forest, that is good because when you are dropped off at the hotel after the excursions or if you go by motorcycle you will save yourself the traffic jam that forms every afternoon when people return from doing tours.
