Villa Alamanda is a great option for any family of friends looking for a place to unwind. It’s a stone’s throw from the city center in Ubud (traffic is not good however - plan on spending more time in cars than you expect, unless you’re comfortable on a motorbike) and gave our family a great experience. Nyoman is an outstanding cook, and the food variety and quality was world class. And inexpensive too! Staff were super helpful and friendly.

I stayed in Villa Alamanda with five others from Australia. The villa is a more traditional Balinese style and is situated about 20mins (in good traffic) out of Ubud backing on to tropical rainforest - it's really beautiful and quite peaceful! The staff and villa manager were extremely attentive and very hospitable.
