We stayed in Ubud for three days. Our host, Angel, was very welcoming to us. The store provided a motorcycle rental service. The restaurants he recommended to us were all delicious. The other staff were also very enthusiastic. The decoration of the room looked better in person than in the pictures, and the bedroom door It is a hundred years old and very stylish. I would recommend everyone to stay here if you have the opportunity~

Annie and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is home made and freshly baked. The place is in a quiet area. Easy to get to. It’s about 20-25min away from downtown Ubud if you are on a bike. Cars might take longer

I have returned home to Australia after after having the most divine time in Bali, staying at Angel house Ubud. This eco Villa is a welcoming sanctuary, with deeply comfortable, beautifully clean and luxurious accommodation, with delicious and nourishing breakfasts. The wonderful staff are ready and willing to support us with any request, including recommendations for day trips, informing us of local community events we are welcome to attend and support with transport. Staff were very accommodating of my gluten free dietary requests. Angel, when requested, was happy to give us guidance on respectful dress and behaviours when interacting with the local community. I was surprised to see a one star review by a previous guest. We are visitors in a modest, muslim country. It feels important to respect their culture. Adequate clothing while riding motorbikes is also a safety consideration. The herbs, inspiring gardens and the ylang ylang tree outside my room, with the fragrant flowers I tucked behind my ear each morning, are glorious. Loved that there was no plastic used in this eco Villa. Ubud and surrounds is a wondrous place. Angel house in an oasis of rest, ease and comfort and the perfect base to explore the region.

We’ve had the most delightful stay at Angel House Ubud. From the easy pick up at the airport with the lovely Kadek through to the final moment dropping us at our next accommodation, every moment has been enjoyable. The pool is perfect, the garden is luscious, the beds are comfortable and the linen is lovely. Our host was an angel and even accompanied us to a local Balian (healer) for an incredible experience including Balinese water blessing (Melukat) and traditional healing. Translation was so helpful. We enjoyed walking around the (very pretty and safe feeling) local village and market as well as eating at local Warungs (local restaurants) just out the front gate. Getting into Ubud was easy with scooter rental and free shuttle as well as Kadek was available to drive us whenever we needed a car. They’re eco conscious, queer friendly, coeliac, gluten free and vegan friendly if needed. Price included delicious breakfasts and the balinese coffee with coconut cream by the pool with tropical fruit was a daily delight. The staff are absolutely lovely and have been there for many years. We come here at the start of every trip to Bali to remember how to speak some essential Balinese and Indonesian and acclimatise to the environment. Highly recommend for a unique local experience outside of the usual hotel or standard Bali tourist trail.

Spoiler Alert: This is the best place to stay in Bali. The property is centrally located south of Ubud with restaurants and shopping nearby. Really, without exception, all the employees of the accommodation are open, warm and very accommodating. The rooms are clean x very tastefully and modernly furnished, the complex itself is an absolute oasis. You can also just relax here for a few days. You can rent a scooter directly from the accommodation through Annie and Kadek, so you can get around quickly. The breakfast is an absolute highlight, with homemade bread, Bircher muesli, pancakes, omelets and great coffee. You get a lot of great tips for things to do in the area from the hosts and you feel completely taken care of. We booked a massage through the hotel and can recommend that without reservation.

We stayed at the Angel House for 5 days and absolutely loved it. Not only is the whole accommodation super nice and clean, the staff is also really nice and nice. Pak Kadek, Angel and all other staff were very caring, helpful and accommodating. We would come back anytime and are happy to have met such great people! Unreservedly recommended 😊

Great place to stay. Very friendly host and staff. The breakfast is beautiful and trip's can be organized. There is a free bus service into ubud. Lovely pool very clean. Good for a nights stay or longer. Private secluded. Laundry is available too. An added bonus is free drinking water. So I would very much recommend coming to the Angel House Ubud.

Words can't describe this place, it's more than just a place to stay. As a solo female I felt so safe and looked after. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was amazing. Pros: - warm and welcoming - beautiful, comfortable room and suroundings - airport pickup by Pak Kadek (who waited for me while I had to run back into the airport where I had left a bag in a toilet cubicle) - incredible breakfast each morning and attentive service from Ibu Wayan and Mbak Vinna - heaps of advice and recommendations (they are so happy to share their incredible local knowledge) - endless supply of clean fresh drinking water - small library and gorgeous pool and bale area Cons: none whatsoever The staff were kind enough to organise a pedicure for me, as well as to see the local community preparation for the upcoming cremation ceremony. Just amazing - suksma!
