I traveled to Ubud alone and stayed at the New Ubud Youth Hostel. The hostel is very clean and in a very good location. It is right inside the Ubud market and is very convenient for shopping. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Ubud Palace and the Ubud Deep Forest Canyon Trail. The museum is nearby. I stayed here for 3 nights. If you travel alone to Ubud, it is more convenient to stay here.

Nice hostel run by family.
The room is basic but air conditioning is good and it’s cleanly.
The hostel is handled by family and they are lovely people.
They allowed and didn’t charge me for late checkout
