We were blown away by the attentiveness and warm hospitality of the team at Tanah Gajah! Our package comes with complimentary daily breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktail, yoga class, laundry service, mini bar items, alcohol in room (whiskey, gin, vodka), Balinese massage, transport to/from Ubud Centre, rice paddy trekking…. A very peaceful resort. If you’re looking for tranquility, to relax and rejuvenate, Tanah Gajah is the place to stay!

We had a wonderful time at Tanah Gajah. The staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed wandering around the rice fields and watching animals such as squirrels, swans and birds thrive! We highly recommend this place to relax, take a break and escape from the bustling city life.

It is 10-15 min drive away from Ubisoft center but there is free shuttle services from morning till 6 pm. Services is very good and the rooms have lived up to the reputation. Cushions around should be upgraded. Gym is too small. Overall an outstanding experience

The hotel is in a good location, close to Ubud Palace, the Monkey Park, shopping markets, coffee shops and restaurants. It is suitable for people who are visiting Ubud for the first time and want to visit the attractions. After all, the hotel has been around for decades, so the facilities are a bit older, but the maintenance is OK. The service staff is very friendly. Pick-up is available in Ubud city from 8am to 6pm. It is more convenient to grab a car or grabmotor when leaving Ubud.

It's a perfect resort hotel. The environment is very good. The chef in the restaurant is very good. All three meals a day are prepared for the hotel. The rice field scenery in the evening makes people immersed in time. The service is excellent, but it can still be seen that a small number of employees always smile to white people and are too peaceful to Asians. The performance is 250k/person, which is just average. This is suitable for pure travel and walking. There are also shuttle buses to Ubud during the day. I will stay a few more days next time.

My favorite hotel in the entire Bali trip. It really has the flavor of Aman. The design of the building and greenery gives you the feeling of being in a temple. You can see stone statues and sculptures of Ganesha elements everywhere. It is full of details. I heard that the hotel was originally a private residence of a designer. The hotel has only 20 villas, which is very private. I rarely meet other guests. There are yoga classes from 7:30 to 9 in the morning, complimentary afternoon tea from 4 to 6 in the afternoon, and happy hour from 6 to 7; the view of the swimming pool and spa is also very good. There is a 30% discount on the spa on the day of check-in, which is very suitable for people who just want to stay in the hotel; you can call a free taxi to Ubud, but it is very congested and it takes an hour to drive two or three kilometers. The staff is also very good. During the stay, they will create a WhatsApp or WeChat group. If you need a car, make an appointment, have a meal, or wash clothes, you can directly tell the group; the service provided is not stingy at all. You can wash 6 pieces of clothes for free every day, and the drinks, snacks, whiskey, vodka, and gin in the minibar are all complimentary. It is worth mentioning that I was petting a cat in Ubud and got a little skin broken by a cat bite. I sent a picture to ask the staff if they should take care of it. The staff was more anxious than me and immediately called a car back to the hotel for me to wash the wound and then accompanied me to the hospital for an injection. Compared with the prices in Ubud, the hotel dinner is not cheap, but I think it is quite delicious. Finally, the hotel slippers are really comfortable. I bought a few pairs when I checked out. The front desk said that they can sell more than 20 pairs of slippers a week, and the price is about 70 RMB.

The hotel is really beautiful and secluded. There are only 20 rooms in the hotel, which is suitable for relaxing without the hustle and bustle of tourists. The public area environment is impeccable, and the rooms also have the local style of Bali, Indonesia. The only drawback is that the hotel hygiene needs to be improved, but it is understandable that the facilities are relatively old. In addition, the restaurant service can be improved. The waiter seemed to be indifferent at dinner. The plates were placed everywhere. There were two tables of guests in total, and they were still busy? The food in the restaurant was also average. Considering the beautiful scenery, these are not a big problem. I will come again next time.

This place is amazing, the price-performance ratio is extremely high, the room of only 2000+ gives me a similar mood to Aman. The garden decoration design is extremely unique, it is completely Ubud feeling, tropical rainforest + rice field + temple. The view of the room for afternoon tea every day is beautiful, one side is the ornamental rice field managed by the hotel, and the other side is Swan Lake. The staff is professional and the service is in place. Provide private free round-trip vehicles to the city, convenient travel. Great, will go again.
