This hotel is no longer in use . It was so sad to take a walk to find it fenced off and grass as high as the fence . We too have stayed there several times in the past and loved it but it’s just a shell of what it was . Why does it still come up as available on searching for availability on several sites ??? Would be a shock to turn up to what it is now !

I just came back from staying at White Rose for 8 days. Where to start. We asked for 2 rooms. After arriving, the air conditioner in my friend's room broke and it took 2 days to fix it. The place is pretty basic, but you have to bring your own face and hand towels. The hotel towels and sheets were old and dirty. We stayed two nights longer than our friends, and on the morning of their checkout, someone knocked on the door at 7 o'clock to see if we also wanted to check out. (We had given them the voucher the day we checked in.) At 6pm that night, someone called again to ask when we were leaving. We explained repeatedly that we could stay two more days and took copies of the vouchers to the front desk to show them as they clearly didn't understand what they had been given. We didn't book a late checkout and wanted to see if this was possible. They said yes, but it would have to be arranged on the day of departure (if they had room available). Came back the night before we went home and arranged a late check out. I went out and my friend stayed in the room to clean up. When she was taking a shower in her room, the people didn't want to disturb her, so they pulled the latch on the door and locked it from the outside. She asked the housekeeper to come into the room, tried three times but it still didn't open, and made numerous calls to the front desk. After 3 hours, an employee from the room opposite came out. He was watching TV inside and asked us when we were leaving. The room was very dirty. It was never scanned while we were there (8 days). The bathroom has changed a bit, but there are still no towels to wipe the tables and chairs. There is a slit on the door, about 2cm wide, and anything can get in. The swimming pool is okay, but like a previous reviewer said, if you don't grab a towel to reserve a seat between 7am and 7:30am, you won't have a sun lounger. They did put some soft mats around the pool. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special, but very edible. The location is fantastic. It's worth the money, but this situation is still too scary. I won't be returning.

Arriving at the hotel to check in was uneventful. We got a double room and a triple room. There was no extra bed in the triple room. Two hours later, they moved a mattress and spread it on the floor to make it a triple room. Water leaked from the roof, bathrobes were stolen outside the room, mosquitoes were rampant, there was no coffee or tea in the triple room, the room was extremely dirty, there were too few swimming pool facilities, and the guests on the side of the pool put their towels on the lounge chairs at 7am I took a seat and arrived late after one or two o'clock in the afternoon. The other guests could only stare. If there are no empty chairs for more than 40 minutes, the poolside management should be able to take away the towels, but he didn't. This is our fifth time in Bali and we will never return to this hotel.
