11 on Kajeng

I have stayed at 11 on Kejang 3 times now and always look forward to staying at my home away from home. This is a small hotel of 3 rooms and 2 villas which means it's quiet and staff are very attentive. I have found nothing to be there I much trouble for staff, recently asking for a small fan for my room. It's the type of place where you can always ask for what you need, or to fix something, and they will be happy to accommodate you. Breakfast is always amazing too. The location is perfect, quiet yet close to central Ubud and walking distance to good cafes and restaurants. Thank you to Mertha, Putu and staff for always taking care of me. Until next time…

This beautiful secluded accommodation was so special. The villas are immaculate, quiet and tranquil. The staff are attentive and wonderful, we could not have been happier with our stay. Within easy walking distance of Ubud and stunning rice paddy walks. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful villa within walking distance of Ubud centre. Our room was amazing, decorated so beautifully and total luxary with our own pool. Our breakfast was served to our room and was always delicious. You have a lovely coffee shop next door and a few minutes walk to the rice fields. All the staff are wonderful, we definitely loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The location was perfect - a really relaxing quiet away from the busy central Ubud while at the same time being such a quick and easy walk away. Also an easy walk to the Jaleng rice field loop. The hotel itself is just lovely and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast delicious and because it’s so small, you feel right at home in the whole space. Will definitely recommend to others!

We stayed in a villa at this beautiful hotel in Ubud for our honeymoon. The villa, staff and surroundings were superb. The room with the private pool was so tranquil and relaxing. The outdoor/open shower was magical and we really felt close to nature even though it’s a short stroll to the centre of Ubud. I would like to give a very special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond for us during our 10 night stay. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if in Ubud.

Stayed in the premier sunset pool suite - wonderful private pool, really comfortable bed and rooms. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is good as it's a short walk to either the town centre or to the Paddy fields. Couldn't really fault the place and would recommend.

Writing this review is hard because I don’t want it to sound too good to be true… because it is true. This place is excellence and perfection. That is it. As a result you can vacate from reality and enjoy it all. They have you. In. Every. Possible. Way. Lots has been written about the location, the decor, the oasis that this place is all about. That is ALL TRUE! What surprise me is: 1. THOUGHTFULNESS. They do think two steps ahead - so you do not need to. Consistently so. Case in point: - BREAKFAST: I took sunrise tours twice and instead of missing my breakfast entirely they arranged for me to have it in the afternoon upon my return. A hot breakfast! And it was delivered right on time too. - LOST ITEM: I left an item at the hotel. They arranged to deliver it to me at my next hotel. AND unknowingly from me they called the new hotel ahead of time so the package could be safely delivered to me. Two steps ahead every time! - PREFERENCES. They must have noticed what I like because everything was arranged just like that. 2. EFFICIENCY and ORGANIZATION - USB plugs and US friendly plugs. Not adapter. Plugs. And 4 per room. That is a small BIG thing for those of us traveling with electrics that need to be charged at the same time. - I recommend to book directly and arrange the airport pick up with them. Impeccable. - The place has actually two entrances. One is ideal for waking and one for being picked up. Simply perfect. The only cons is that they basically ruined my next hotel stay in Nusa L and Nusa Dua. Nobody matched 11 on Kajeng. Bottom line: By far the best experience in Bali!

This place is an extraordinary gem in Ubud. We loved absolutely everything from the very first minute. It is a peaceful oasis, very clean and cosy with a selection of delicious breakfasts. But the cherry on top is the stuff. The people there are so kind and warm and are ready to help you with everything. We already miss them and are looking forward to come back again.

I had high expectations of this small intimate resort but 11 on Kajeng still managed to exceed them. We were a group of 8, (4 sisters and their spouses) who had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous oasis in the middle of downtown Ubud. Everything about this accommodation is amazing, from the luxuriously appointed villas and suites, to the lush tropical plants to the ever attentive, yet unobtrusive staff. We stayed in two villas, both of which were mirror images of each other, and two Botanical Suites. The latter were of course smaller but just as beautifully presented and decorated. These three suites share a gorgeous tropical pool and the villas have their own good sized plunge pool. What I loved most about 11 on Kajeng, apart from the vintage 5 star accommodation, is its proximity to shops, restaurants and massage places. Each day, we would walk outside and amble down the path through the rice fields and stop for coffee and pancakes at Luxe Villas or a curry at Orange Warung, or perhaps incredible spring rolls at Aldi Cafe and then return in the afternoon for a massage at Juwah Manis Massage (all time favourite place). In the evening, we would walk out the back entrance of No. 11 Kajeng and eat at one of the surrounding restaurants. For Italian, try La Baracca. It has wonderful homemade pasta to rival any restaurant in Sydney or Melbourne. Thank you to all the staff at 11 on Kajeng for ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfection.
