We very much enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Alam Indah (Grand deluxe valley view). All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We like the beautiful garden and the view over the monkey forest is great. Nice breakfast!

Personnel chaleureux, petit déjeuner délicieux, belle piscine tranquille. 130 mètres environ du chemin principal donc c’est très tranquille et agréable. Le thé d’après-midi est servi avec un gâteau c’est une belle attention. Vous ne serez pas déçu !

We had a lovely stay at Alam Indah. The hotel is in an excellent location, in a sort of small suburb just away from the centre of Ubud, much quieter but still walkable via track around the edge of the Monkey Forest. There are plenty of good restaurants/cafes within 5 minutes walk.
The staff were very welcoming and extremely capable in providing us with information and helping arrange excursions. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Ubud and back that can be arranged via whatsapp - this was incredibly useful.
Room was as advertised, lovely big bed and great views over the valley. Design/curtains in the room mean it gets quite light in the morning - bring an eyemask if light-sensitive, but this was really no trouble. Would definitely recommend.

All of our friends stay here too and it’s such a special place. Rooms perched in the forest with monkeys, birds and butterflies. The most amazing food. The best staff. A pool of peace and tranquility, so needed after a day in frenetic Ubud. Just the best. Thank you and see you soon!

Extremely good service provided by the wonderful staff of Alan Indah. They were very hospitable and warm from the day we checked in. Had attention to detail and gave a personalised touch to their service. The most important thing to observe was that every staff served us with a smile. It was as if you are staying amidst nature at its best. The structure of the rooms and entire resort was based on Balinese tyle. Devaa, Gusti and the entire team looked after us in every manner.

Deuxieme séjour dans cet hôtel de charme. Son calme contraste avec le bruit et le trafic du centre d Ubud devenu quasi insupportable. Nous y avons retrouvé Ayu rencontrée il y a 5ans et qui faisait l effort de parler en français. Le raccourci le long de monkey forest est desormais utilisé par les scooters mais toujours une trés bonne alternative à la navette engluée dans les bouchons. Les repas pris sur place sont excellents avec un choix limité mais pratique lors des arrivées tardives. Le Laka leke, le Wayan cafe et le spa wangi du shanti sont également d une grande qualité à un prix adequat. La rue d accés à l hotel est calme et et comporte beaucoup de restaurants et boutiques pratiques le soir pour aller diner et flaner. Le personnel d Alam indahtrés gentil nous permet de découvrir chaque fois un peu plus de la culture Balinaise et nous donne toujours de bons conseils pour nos visites et achats. In my opinion one of the coziest and authentic hotels in Ubud. Located behind Monkey Forest it is an easy walk to Monkeys Forest Road, Jalan Hanuman or Ubud Palace ( or you just make use of the complimentary shuttle). The bungalows in balinese style are nestled in a beautiful terraced garden that is lovingly maintained. Sound of nature like birds, frogs etc are included 😉. Keep in mind that there are steps throughout the hotel due to the terrace style. A little pool invites for a swim and to just relax, just be aware that the Monkeys like to come for a visit. In the afterNoon tea/coffee and a piece of cake is complimentary. The rooms go from simple to luxurious. Breakfast is a la carte with fresh juice, fruit, joghurt, muesli, all styles of egg, fresh bread, croissants, pancakes, jaffles and asian choices like fried rice. Staff is very friendly and kind and will try everything to make you enjoy your stay.
