Very poor hotel. It’s not clean, it smells and it’s very moisty. On top of that there are working people busy during the day by demollishing a room. The only good thing is the fantastic view at Mnt. Batur. But we would really recommend: Don’t go to this awfull hotel.Sorry to say so
I spent a wonderful couple of very relaxing days at Toteme with my friend. We’d had a busy few days in Ubud, so staying at Toteme was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle! The pool was wonderful, I thought it might be odd to have a hot pool in hot weather but it was lovely. If I could have had a cold pool as well, that would have made the experience perfect! The beds were fabulous, You can also request different kinds of pillows, air con worked well. Fridge in room, handy to keep fruit/snacks cool. Water is provided free of charge and will be refreshed on request. tent feels absolutely luxurious. Safe provided for valuables. The staff were all very attentive and polite, the service could be a little slow but I realised this is the Bali way and tbh, where did I need to be?! At several other/different places we visited on our trip, food would come out in random orders, ie one main first, then a couple of drinks, then the other main, then a starter… it was amusing but could be frustrating if you’re not used to it! Toteme were pretty good in that regard. In particular Bintang was very attentive, her sunny smiling disposition made our stay there very enjoyable. The staff explained on arrival to expect noise from nature; the cicadas were very loud but only for a short time early evening , ear plugs are offered free of charge. I’d recommend having them anyway, the noise of car engines heading up the mountain at 3am is quite loud. As you are sleeping in a tent, you will be able to hear pretty much everything going on around you. The flies can be irritating, but they provide little electronic table fans to keep them off food/drinks. I’ve had worse flies in Spain on holiday. They don’t bother you so much when you’re in the pool. The location on arrival at the rim is stunning before driving down into the caldera. Recommend spending some time looking at the view and having lunch/drinks in one of the restaurants. Breakfast was lovey, there’s a choice of one cooked or cold dish ranging from avocado on toast, French toast, granola bowl and Nasi Goreng plus a fresh made juice OR coffee not both. I presume you can pay extra to have both. If you’re used to having a large breakfast, you might consider taking extra foods/snacks with you. We had two tents so we each had two breakfast choices! It was a bit too much food, but I would have wanted more food if I’d had one choice from the menu. As we ate large breakfasts, we didn’t need to eat again until dinner time. Cocktails and dinner all very well prepared although I think the seasoning is to ‘western’ taste. If you like spicy food, ask for Asian style. We asked for the Nasi Goreng at breakfast to be spicy, very tasty but still fairly bland.
Got an antimainstream vacay to Bali this July 2023, too bored to get beaches trip so then we chose to try bobocabin kintamani. Travelled all the way from Legian and we arrived quiet late (at around 8pm). Reaching Kintamani, thick fog welcomed us and we had to get ”up and down” way to the resort. A bit confused to get there at the first time, welcomed by Mr. Arie Radyan and the Ms. Yesi (whose friendly and so strong assisting our belongings 😭 - but we were hesitate). Thank you for the entire staff there, appreciate for the help to bring our ”heboh” luggage and belongings 😅 Super tired but when we arrived at our cabins.... OMG the view was so breathtakingly awesome! They provided some bbq stuffs (we have also bought some beef slices and instant noodles - of course - at town) and enjoyed the scenery up there. Hi-tech, very tidy functioning rooms. Key wasn't provided, we had to use the apps though. All those touch screened buttons (to blur & clear window option, for lamps setting etc) were so WOW. Not kind of morning persons but we woke up early to catch the sunrise moment. It - was - totally - ajhdhjejdhwh (even words can't explain 😭🙏🏻). Having some tea in the morning with view was so legit 🥲 Hope can be back someday 🥰

We arrived late at night, so we couldn't see the surrounding scenery, but when we unzipped the tent, we were impressed by the view! It was dynamic, and we could see Mount Batur. It was great to have an open-air bath and a cup of coffee in the morning!!! The facilities were spacious and clean, and the restaurant had a wide variety of dinner menus. Great. I want to come again.
beautiful view of the property of from the property, nice pool with hot spring water, warm and cozy. free tea and coffee for all guest at any time of the day. can order food in the evening.
The stuff is very helpful and welcoming.
they have a fire place and fire every evening.
if you want to relax after your hike to Batur it's a good place without crowds and in calm area.
We are going to sunrise trip the next day 5am, good choice so next day we not need wake up super early. But never expect so cold there during night time. Thank you Sri who served us fetch us out to buy cake. And even give us a surprise diy cake as they aware my husband would like celebrate for me while shop there all close by 8pm.thank you so much for prepare us breakfast box at 4am too.
Getting there is quite an adventure) the audibility is just as if the owners are sleeping in your bed with all the animals) the shower pipe is from the wall))) fortunately we were in this hotel for one night, we couldn’t stand it for the second! The hosts are responsive and kind, the pool with warm water was changed every day. Spent the night purely for the climb up the mountain
In the property there are 4 very simple Villas, spacious room, bathroom and that's it, little decoration and everything very simple and not very clean (tv photos), the views are beautiful, the worst thing is the MOSCAS (Flies) it's impressive, you can't eat ! The plates are filled with them, in the pool you can NOT spend even two minutes because they bother you all the time and there are millions of them everywhere, it's a nuisance. Apart from the flies, the service offered by the hotel is lousy, there is no one in a kind of reception that is in the Bar-terrace, you have to call a phone and after a while someone comes to you... we ask for breakfast almost by signs already that they speak English like I do Indonesian (0)… after much pointing out, what is on the menu, we ask for 2 continental breakfasts (which they offer on the menu for 50k) they bring us only one! I claim and they have forgotten or they haven't found out, mystery, after 45 minutes of clock and putting up with the unbearable flies they bring me my breakfast... oh and there was no one else in the Bar-Restaurate...! Amazing! We didn't even dare to ask for anything else there! Too bad since the place looked good.
The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful and quiet. The room is very clean, but the decoration is relatively simple. The floor is made of tiles. It is very cold to walk on the mountain without wearing shoes. It would be great if the floor can be replaced. There is a kitchen to cook. It is very close to Batur Volcano, you can contact the hotel to arrange volcano climbing. The climate is dry and comfortable, and the nights are cool. During the day, clothes can be dried in a few hours after the sun comes out.
It is worth noting that the road to the hotel is super difficult, and it is definitely a challenge for drivers who drive!
I booked this glamping from their site and sent email directly to the glamping reservations team for a 2-nights stay (4 Deluxe Tent). I have high expectation after reading all the good review. Disaster starts from check-in: 1. The pool cannot be used on day of arrival and must wait until next day and water not warm enough 2. Many tent facilites were not checked and well maintain as picture shown. 3. Entrance to the glamping site only enough for 1-car 4. Too many flies 5. No wood fire place during the night 6. Tent were not seal properly leading to cold wind enter the tent, mosquitos enter the room, fungi all over the tent, toilet paper was not replace with new one or even less than 7. Glamping site we poorly maintain. We decided to only stay for 1-night with 1-night unrefundable for 4-rooms but at least we can come back to our home and can sleep properly with clean environment. Will definitely NOT be back again.

JJumihadiJust need an additional charge for 1 person ... although the mattress is available for 3 adults. Sc good place full facility ... compared to paying 100k/person entrance ticket, better stay at hokers camp
GGuest UserOur stay was awesome. Beautiful camps with amazing lake view. Service was great too. Maybe some feedbacks would be the condition of the aircon in one of the camps. It was’nt correctly functional and we asked the staff to move us to another camp. Another funny one would be the infiltration of a bat into our bedroom through the washroom. The washroom itself is roofless with outdoor ambience, so it makes sense that small animals could get in and theres nothing the staff could do about it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, thank you.
RRachman DannyFor those who are traveling in Kintamani area, you can stop by here.. although the place is a bit in, but the morning and view here are very ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Don't worry about drinks and snacks
Here also provide food and drinks that are cheap in our opinion
And also here provides a variety of Jeep trips & rentals to Mount Batur, ATVs are also available
For families and couples, gass.
Please allow me to add 2 more pillows, so that we who like to sleep wear a lot of pillows not tight hehehe
Overall good 🔥
GGuest UserThe owner of this place was very kind and gave us dinner at night and took us on a tour to see the sunrise at Kintamani, which was a lot of fun! The price was also reasonable and he was very kind to take us to Ubud at the end. The staff and his sons were also kind and showed us the nearby fields and farms. It's a great place for the price, so I highly recommend it!
11sasaThe location is on the street of baatur, and it is easy to find the restaurant up and down. But the photos on the trip are different from the ones I ordered to live in. The suggestion is to write the content more clearly. There are two toilets, one bath (the amount of hot water is very small). If you are used to living in a camping area, you may like it, but if you are used to staying in a hotel, you may not adapt. The scenery is actually covered by trees, and it is still recommended to go outside if you want to see the lake view. Dogs outside the road are easy to chase, and you need to be careful when you go out at night.
GGuest UserClean room ✅ Suites room with magical jacuzzi outside, hot water work perfectly. No mosquito Need more improvement for restaurants or food and drinks. You can bring your own snacks or food. Is very close to hiking sites. Highly recommended for people who stay a night for hiking.
AAdrian RodriguesGreat view of the mountains especially on the rooftop infinity pool with a sunken bar and the pool is fitted with heaters to keep the pool warm especially being in the high altitudes. A draw back is, the room doesn’t have air-conditioners but it’s fitted with a ceiling fan. Overall, it’s always cool up there so it’s good enough. Not sure during summer how it’ll be. Another draw back: it’s weird that you need the keys to lock the main door even from inside! This needs to be addressed especially when 1 needs to step out, the other partner cannot sleep peacefully.
It’s a new development with much to improve on. Overall, it was a great experience with beautiful rooms and panoramic views for the sunrise!
Lastly, the highlight would be the food!! They chef is excellent! Im sure he’s a Michelin! All the food we had was really good! Perfect scramble eggs and omelette done without overcooking, hence, a creamy texture and yummy!
GGuest UserNice and new guest house. Right on the lake shore. Very nice view. Three houses overlook the lake, and the rest do not have a direct view. The pool has very warm water, which is warmer than the air in the evening. It is good in the mountains. There is a small cafe where you can have a snack from 15:00 to 20:00. Breakfasts are also held there from 08:00 to 20:00.
There was no hot water in the shower in the room. Only one tap. And the water was slightly warm.
There are flies, but they are everywhere around the lake. And they disappear in the evening. It was not a problem.
As a result: a good place for a short rest and recharge
GGunBaliThis place has an amazing view to Mount Batur and Lake Batur. It is on the road where the trucks are passing for transporting sands and other materials. Sometimes we can hear the roar but only on working hours (morning to eary evening). The road is quit a challenging form some with poor driving skill. This road is not suitable for easy cycling (unless you're a pro). It offers big room which need maintenance in some areas. The main issues in this place is the humidity which cause many walls are peels off. Bathroom almost as big as the room itself. Intalling URINALs on the bathroom would be good for male since it still has plenty of space. Urinal would help male not to pee on the floor hence reduce pee smell in bathroom. This place has unique restaurant called The Kayuan. it is very instagrammable. Food and drinks are so so, but better than most of other place in this area.
