Best Hotels near Pura Dadya Agung Pasek Gelgel Br. Baledan Atas, Bali

Very good view of the forest, the houses are located at a distance from local houses, relatively quiet, the room has a kettle, air conditioning, hot water. There is no drinking water or bathroom amenities, but this is compensated by the view from the balcony.

The staff was very kind, friendly and when we came with issues or problems to them, they always did everything to find solutions. They really hustled and always gave their best because we arrived a few hours before the check-in and they did everything that we can go in our bungalow. But to be honest, the communication was very hard and unsure due to the staff’s poor English language skills. The food at the breakfast tasted delicious but there was no huge variety. In the small village where the bungalows were, was everything available (Warung, supermarket, Laundry) but to see more e. g. beaches, discover the island or get to the port, a scooter would be essential.

If you want to relax and not go anywhere, you will like it here. If you like to travel, you will travel to places that are quite far away.

The hotel liked, especially the Route Territory. The man owner helped us, called a taxi, called the staff. The only one, at night from the roof fell on the floor of the room of the hectare 😀

We stayed here in March 2023. We had a suite which was over two floors. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was outside, therefore if you’re staying here be prepared to share your space with a few creatures. There are also quite a few roosters running around the hotel. This was not a problem to us, however to those that may get bothered by noise, you may want to consider this as roosters can be very vocal. Things I think the room could benefit from would be a safe, a fridge and power sockets on the ground floor (there was one in the bathroom though which was on the ground floor). The menu in the restaurant was quite limited, but if you don’t fancy going out to a restaurant, I’m sure you’d find something suitable to eat. The food was good and well-priced. From the restaurant you can see the kitchen and watch the staff as they prepare your meal. If you like a little tipple in the evening, be warned, I could only see beer on the menu and there wasn’t any wine available. The staff were exceptional. I cannot fault them. Kadek was incredibly helpful. When we told him what we’d like to do on our days out, he organised everything for us. His brother, Manaday (apologies for the dodgy spelling of names) became our driver for four days and took us everywhere we wanted to go and guided us around. Kadek and his brother are the most accommodating hotel staff we have ever come across. Everything they organised for us was amazing and incredibly priced. If you love nature, this hotel is located in a perfect place. Surrounded by trees and vegetation, it’s a sight to see. The drive from the harbour was approx. 20 minutes up hill. The roads on Nusa Penida are (on the whole) awful, therefore having a driver was a god send for us. All in all, this was a magical retreat and we would certainly go again.

Very nice place with well maintained garden and pool , very clean and comfortable rooms. The only negative I can say is kitchen maybe not too clean, I ordered fried rice and it came with addition of fried ants.
